Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, our beautiful 3 bedroom terraced home is perfect for a family visiting Stroud!

Just minutes walk from the centre of town with lovely views over the Slad Valley.

Nearby, you'll benefit from a range of great gastropubs (The Woolpack at Slad, The Old Fleece at South Woodchester) and live entertainment (The Subscription Rooms).

The Cotswolds offers beautiful landscapes; here you'll see best of the British countryside!

What To Expect:
* Beautiful three bedroom house spread across 4 floors
* Wonderful kitchen with large dinning table for family dinners
* 2 doubles (mater bedroom on 1st floor, 2nd double in basement room), 1 kids bunk bed on top floor (can sleep 2 small adults) and 1 sofa bed with bedding for emergencies
* Key box check in
* The house will be fully cleaned before you arrive
* A family home with a personal touch
* An amazing location, right by the Cotswolds!

All rooms except the small 4th bedroom that is kept locked.

Other things to note
The house is, as one recent guest put it 'An old-school ABB'.
It's a family home that we rent out to visitors and it has that feel.
If you are looking for a hotel class of accommodation this is probably not the property for you.
We do not want to bring any disappointment to anyone.
One of the bedrooms is in the basement and although it is aired regularly some guests have reported a 'musty' smell.
If you are sensitive to this kind of thing again, this is most likely not the property for you.
Also as in common with all houses in Stroud the stairs are very steep.

Uplands is very close to the centre of Stroud, up a hill (surprisingly!) and very quiet and picturesque yet you can pop into town in 5 minutes.

A market town situated 10 miles south of the City of Gloucester, Stroud is encircled by five sweeping valleys opening out to the River Severn and is renowned for its steep streets, independent spirit and cafe culture. Stroud has a treasure-trove of independent retailers, boutiques and vintage shops, all in the heart of the town, giving the place its distinctive bohemian feel. It’s also worth checking out Stroud's award-winning weekly Farmers' Market – considered one of the best in the country. Located close to Stroud, just 3 miles from the market town of Tetbury, Westonbirt Arboretum is one of the finest tree collections in the world, carefully laid out within a listed Victorian landscape. With 17 miles of accessible paths and a stunning treetop walkway, Westonbirt Arboretum is a favourite attraction for families, dog walkers and school visits, and is famed for its spectacular Autumn colour and Spring rhododendron, azalea and magnolia displays.
