Immersed in the heart of Ragusa Ibla, our boutique hotel is in a great position to allow you to visit our fascinating historic centre full of medieval memories and dotted with Baroque palaces and churches. The route of Via Scale starts with the "Arches" and the Church of Purgatory, passes through the Palazzo della Cancelleria and winds until you reach the Church of Santa Maria delle Scale where you will be delighted by a breathtaking panoramic view of Ibla. From here you can reach the Cathedral of San Giovanni passing through the historic stately buildings including Palazzo Bertini. A short walk from Intervallo you will find the Church of Santa Maria dell 'Itria and, on the corner between the Ascendatore and Corso Mazzini, Palazzo Cosentini. Strolling through the alleys you will begin to see the dome of St. George's Church which will lead you to the square in front of which you can see the imposing façade. From there you can continue through the historic Conversation Circle and from Palazzo Donnafugata to the Iblei Gardens. Not far away you will also find the old Portal of San Giorgio, the only Gothic evidence left in our territory after the earthquake of 1693.
