Courtesy transfers are not be available so you will need to take a taxi. You are welcome to telephone our local taxi firms:

St Joseph’s Executive Travel – (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)

Otherwise Gatwick taxis operate from outside the terminal buildings. They are more expensive as they have to pay to operate out of Gatwick.

When you get to Rosemead Guest House you will need to follow the instructions below to get into the house and to your room:
To the left of the front door is little black box. Open the silver shutter door to reveal 4 dials. Enter the combination - 2458, now PRESS AND HOLD DOWN the BLACK button (on the left of the combination dials), at the same time pull the grey shutter towards you; inside is a YALE KEY TO UNLOCK the front door. PUT THE KEYS BACKOUTSIDE IN THE BOX NOT INSIDE THE HOUSE SO THAT THEY ARE READY FOR THE NEXT PERSON TO USE; THE BOX INSIDE IS FOR ROOM KEYS ONLY!!! Set the combination dials back to 0000 to lock. Close the shutter door.

Your room number is Room Number 6 – upstairs and turn at the top of the stairs, first door on your right. The door is closed but not locked. Have a pleasant stay

Ideal location as very close to airport and easy to find. Also horley town centre has plenty of nice restaurants to visit for a nice meal before your start your holiday abroad the next day

Fiona was a great host. Check in was efficient, the rooms comfy with everything we needed, plus we received transfers to the air which is very nearby. Great value, thanks.

The room was fine and location too. Clean and well appointed. I must say that I did not feel too welcome, I booked for a friend and this was a different name on the booking, it became a big issue for nothing really. All in all, this was not the friendly welcome I was hoping for with Airbnb.

Response from Fiona:
When you made the booking you did not mentioned that it was for a friend and so I was confused. Perhaps if you had helped him with the luggage and then he could have checked in himself. So if you give the correct information in future then the host will not be confused and be able to more welcoming.

Guest house owner, living in Horley. Love to travel when I can get away! Love my dogs. Favourite film - Dirty Dancing; favourite TV show(s) - NCIS/Arrow. Love easy listening music. Read lost of books of all genre on my Kindle!! Favourite food - Beef Wellington!
Having travelled around the world I have met many people and stayed in all sorts of accommodation including tents in the Okovango and huts in Nepal!
My guest house was given a Silver Award by the Tourist Board whilst I was a member. I am no longer a member because it costs nearly £700 a year to be a member! So The rooms are well stocked with everything that a traveller needs including toiletries and a full beverage tray with a selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate with a selection of biscuits to compliment the hot drink!
