Heba obviously takes great care and pride in her lovely home. We were welcomed and enjoyed the thoughtful touches such as the blankets for the balcony, the books and magazines in the communal area and the fabulous home-made bread and tasty breakfast. Ogden the dog was a delight.

our hosts made us very welcome, in their lovely home. The location is great- our room had a balcony looking straight out to sea. Everything was as we expected from the listing. Heba and her husband were welcoming and the smell of bread being freshly baked for breakfast as we arrived was delicious! ( breakfast was substantial and very tasty!) will definitely consider returning if we visit Iceland in the future.

Heba and Kristján were lovey hosts. The house is stunning! Heba gave us a tour of the guest floor with the different bedrooms, and they all looked lovely. Heba was very quick on replying to our questions before the trip. Very warm and comfy beds, with our own balcony (shame we couldn't use it as it was raining!). Great views of the coast and we were told that on a sunny day you could see the volcano Eyjafjallajökull. Although the bedrooms are in the same house, they're on the top floor and the hosts stay on the ground floor. You also have a livingroom area to rest or read, or plan your trip. The village is a lovely fishing village, with a very cute harbour and a restaurant that serves mainly langoustines, which I have to say were delicious! Great breakfast too! That humus... yum! There is also a very lovely dog, Odin, which we wanted to take with us!!

This was probably our favorite Airbnb stay ever. The house was sparkling clean and held amazing views throughout - we booked the golden room which had a shared terrace with the master room (but we were lucky to have it all to ourselves that night). You can access the beach from the backyard - I highly recommend this! The lava fields are breathtaking in the morning. The bed was super comfy - we slept like babies. Heba & Kristjan were absolutely lovely hosts and prepared an icelandic feast for breakfast with muesli, fresh juice, jams, homemade hummus, lamb cold cuts, cheese, skyr, freshly baked bread, and lots of coffee! Odin (their adorable pup) kept us cheery :) Blessi until next time!

Staying at Heba's place is wonderful. She has kept many artifact from Iceland in her house and is generous with her explanations of her family history and the area in general. The place was wonderful and we would definitely come back again.
