We are adhering to CDC protocols to keep our guests safe. We sanitize and disinfect the house thoroughly therefore we cannot permit early check ins and late check outs at this time. We are located in the heart of North Oak Cliff. A 6 minute walk to the Bishop Arts District & 2 minute walk to the streetcar which gives you access to downtown Dallas. Guests enjoy the attention to detail & privacy of our carriage house. We go above & beyond to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

The space
The Fraser Carriage House is a rustic guest house with touches of modernism and Bohemia. Inside you will find artwork, plenty of books for all tastes, and handcrafted pieces. Please have the utmost respect for all the artwork and handcrafted pieces. The house is saged and cleansed before your arrival to remove any bad vibes. Fresh flowers, herbs, and plants are all hand picked from our gardens and placed throughout the carriage house.

We would like to announce that the private outdoor shower has been completed and is ready for use. The outdoor shower can be accessed through the indoor shower where guests can enjoy a natural shower under the sun and stars. This shower includes both hot and cold water so guests can use it no matter the season or weather. Take a hot shower in the rain or on hot Texas days, cool off by taking a cold one. Luxury amenities are included such as candles, scrubs, lotions, and body washes. Light some candles and incense and be one with nature. Although the shower is private and secluded if you feel timid you can always bring your swimsuit!

This is not a hotel. We enjoy hosting and want you to feel like you're in a home not a sterile hotel room. Our goal is that your experience is comfortable, cozy, private, and safe while enjoying our community and it's amenities. Expect total chill vibes, a place to let go of the negativity around you and embrace peace and relaxation. "Smoking" is permitted on the porch. Please do not "smoke" inside the carriage house.

This is a detached carriage house located behind your host's home. We have WIFI, Netflix, HBO Max. Heating and cooling. A small kitchenette that includes a microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and mini fridge. A separate sleeping quarter; which include a 2nd TV (PLEASE REFRAIN FROM EATING IN BED), also includes a heated mattress pad to keep you warm during cold months and a private bathroom. We provide ample towels, blankets, and amenities such as blow dryer and iron. Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body scrub, lotion, and facial wipes are included. Coffee from local roasters, wine, teas, creamer, soy milk, snacks, bread, butter, jams, and filtered water are always restocked and included during your length of stay.

This carriage house does not have a washer and dryer, however your host would be happy to wash and dry your laundry per request. Kenji the Corgi may greet you upon arrival and during your stay however we ask that you not let him inside the carriage house. Please keep in mind that the Carriage house is very small, only 375 sq ft of space. As a guest we want you to make the most of your stay, parties are not permitted however you may have friends and family visit or have a small get together. 2 guests are only permitted for the stay however a third guest is fine to stay over night but the sofa does not turn into a bed. It is quite comfortable to sleep on. We love parties and we love throwing them but the carriage is too small for extravagant soirees.
