Rusheyhill Loft, is in Rusheyhill Apiary, a private eco-friendly conservation/biodiversity/project. We keep and breed the native Irish Honeybee. We have 10 acres of wildflower meadows and forest in a secluded rural location near Ballymoney and only a short distance from the famous North Coast. The loft is the only guest house and is detached from the main house. It’s large 8mx1.5m picture window has uninterrupted views and isn’t overlooked.

The space
The loft is brand new and fully equipped. Washing Machine, dish washer, fridge/freezer, WiFi, TV etc. Guests have a terrace, a small private garden and full access to the whole estate. The picture window is not overlooked by any nearby properties.

Guest access
With the exception of the apiary, guests have free access the the whole estate. However, the meadows are home to several species of ground nesting birds some of them quite threatened. So we ask guests to be careful not to disturb them particularly during nesting season. There are forest paths which lead to some lovely clearings, there are little sun traps, places with great views, places to picnic or just chill out with a glass of wine and a good book. Doze in the sun and listen to bird song, insect buzz and the trees whispering in the breeze. There is even one clearing with a real wishing well and a log cabin you can use.
. The whole estate is private and secluded and FKK friendly.

Other things to note
There are honeybee apiarys on the property and guests are required to stay at least 10m away from them unless accompanied by the beekeeper.
Apiary visits are welcome when accompanied by the beekeeper who will supply full protective clothing
