A great apartment, very central to all the sights. It is well maintained, and I loved the little touches of tea/coffee etc being available.

Chiara's home was a great place to stay! All of her recommendations were very helpful and we loved the restaurants and historical sites nearby (lots of big sites were a good 15-25 min walk away, however there were a lot of beautiful sites nearby as well.) It was a great location …

Response from Chiara:
Dear Stephen, We always accept negative or positive review because are always a way to improve our service BUT has to be true. During your stay was not 4 degree but 15and in the house you always had 21 degree, because as you said I can change everything from my phone. How it works the heating in Italy: First of all is not a florence rules but an Italian rule, it say that the MAXIMUM temperature that we can set in home is 21 during the day and 19 . The heating will start authomaticly when the temperature goes under 21 degree or 19 degree unless is not necessary to let it start. The temperature is set at different temperature during the day in order to avoid to keep it on when you are outside of home. For this reason you asked me to put 21 degree from 5.30 pm instead of 6.30 pm the afternoon and I did it. We try to do our best to save energy because for the global warming and because here it is very expensive (keeping on for few hours during the day you spend around 250 euro per mounts only for gas) but i understand this is not your problem. In the house anyway you find ALSO electric heating and blankets. But I always remind that you had always 21 degree during your stay and I would not say that is freezing. About the distances, I would like to point out that we are located: -about250 metres from train station -about 300 metres from the Accademia -about 400 metres from the main cathedral -500/600 metres from palazzo vecchio 600 metres from ponte vecchio -1 km from palazzo pitti and Santa Croce . This is a city not a village. So we are really lucky to be so close to all the main sights. This is a medioeval building so you are living in an historical home. All the distances are written in the listing if you need 15/20 minutes to do 250 metres is only your experience

A cute home close to S.M.N. train station. After a week of staying at hotels/B&Bs we enjoyed having our own place for two nights to pick up food from the market and relax in a cozy environment. I have reservations in recommending this place fully if small showers and thin-mattres…

We had a nice time at Chiara's stylish apartment. It was centrally located and a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Chiara and her team provided some good recommendations for local places to eat and drink.
