Your room is spacious and quiet throughout the day. It functions as your own private living room during the day and bedroom at night with both a pull out bed and a real bed. In theory 4 people could sleep in your room, which makes it ideal if you have kids. Query about price for a small group. A large duvet, extra pillows, and a blanket stored in your room.

We are located on the border of the most sought after area of Geneva (Cologny). Geneva's amazing public transportation system is accessible immediately in front of the building. Just a 1-minute walk and city centre, Lake Geneva, and old town are easily accessed. We also have parking available for guests with a car. The apartment building is quiet and secluded from the noise of city traffic, buses, and late-night partygoers.

Located on the border between Cologny and Chêne-Bougeries, we are nestled on the hillside above Lake Geneva. Walks through nearby Parcs La Grange and des Eaux-Vives end at the Genève-Eaux-Vives ferry on Lake Geneva. A range of shopping options from the very affordable (Eaux-Vives) to the very expensive (Rue du Rhône) and everything in between (Rue de Rive) are also close at hand. A pharmacy, two mini-markets, and a gas station are within walking distance.

Beware those advertising “lively neighborhoods” that may have you up all night – whether you want to be or not! You are close enough to enjoy the Geneva nightlife without worrying about the noise following you home. It’s the best of both worlds!

The building is beautifully maintained and clean. The neighbors are quiet and respectful. Two elevators are available to take you to our upper floor apartment.

We recommend that you collect a free public transport ticket at the airport and take the train to the main station (Cornavin) in city centre (5-7 min.) where you will transfer to Bus 9. Exit in Cologny/Chêne-Bougeries (16 min.).

Are you planning a surprise getaway? Celebrating an anniversary or birthday? Perhaps you would like a bottle of wine, flowers, or that famous Swiss chocolate awaiting your arrival. We are happy to help make your holiday memorable by handling special requests. Please contact us with details so that we may provide you with a quote for additional services.

For stays of 7 nights or more, please contact us with the dates of your stay to receive accurate pricing information.

Note: We are still furnishing the apartment. Pictures will be updated as new items are added.

I really enjoyed my stay here, I found the room to be clean, comfortable and promising everything advertised (and fab value for money too!). Although I did not meet Daniel during my 3 night stay, Linda was very welcoming, friendly and informative. The property is really close to a bus stop, which made getting into the city very simple and I found that the public transport runs late into the night so the return trips was very easy. I would definitely stay here again for any future trips to Geneva and would highly recommend this room to future visitors.

The room is very comfortable, both the bed and the sofa. Location of the apartment is pretty great, just 1 min walk to the bus stop. I like the big windows and sunshine everyday. They downside of this room is that there's no desk here. so if you want to work at home, it's a bit difficult, and it is a bit lack of space/shelve/draws that I can put my stuff in. Another issue of this place is that you have to pay 10 CHF each time doing laundry. That's very expensive, since all utilities should be included in the fee? This apartment is very clean. Daniel is a very clean person. Kitchen is well equipped as well. But I don't think I will stay at this place next time if I have to be in Geneva again.

Response from Daniel:
Washing machines of the building are indeed available at the concierge such as free outdoors and indoor pools and sauna. However, as detailed in the offer accepted by Tracy when booking, there is the more comfy alternative to use private washing and dryer at an extra cost. As a special remark to Tracy: we agreed on a monthly low-low-low cost share of lease. It was a bit unfair to have to do clean up in WC and kitchen after our guest, since this was a share and not a commercial rental. We abstained to leave a disappointed comment in Tracy's profile. But following her unfair comments on our profile, we are pleased to set the record straight, in conformity with the many other brilliant reviews our guests have left.

I had a wonderful one month stay at Daniel's place. Daniel is a great guy and was very helpful. The apartment is in a great location, with buses leaving from just outside frequently and taking about 20 mins to get to Gare Cornavin. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed very comfortable and the apartment clean. Both my bedroom and the kitchen were warm and had lots of natural light and the pool was an added bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Daniel's place or to stay there again.

Room was perfect, good location only short bus ride from town. Daniel's a very nice guy who cooks mean curry! Would stay again without hesitation.

I have enjoyed my stay at Daniel's home. The apartment is conveniently located and accessible by public transportation. There is a small convenience store within a few mins walk which is really nice. The pools are clean and well-maintained. The area is very safe and one of the better areas of Geneva in which to live. The room is great and spacious, with a bed and a couch. The bathroom and kitchen facilities are very clean and well-kept. Daniel is very kind, generous and knowledgeable about Geneva and Europe. He travels frequently but if you are lucky, he will cook for you! :-) It has been a home away from home while I have been in Geneva and I am very grateful.

I have not yet met Linda but she was very friendly and responsive prior to my trip. Daniel is very kind and helpful. He has looked out for me during my stay in Geneva and I could not be more grateful. I would definitely recommend their home. They are great hosts.

We had a lovely time in Geneva and our stay at Daniel and Linda's place. They were both out of town so unfortunately, we never got a chance to meet. They responded immediately to any communication and they sent out detailed instructions on how to arrive and get there. The house was clean, spacious and nice amenities (pool, etc). The only slight disadvantage was that the location seemed a little far from everything but we had rented a car so it wasn't a big deal and we never used the public transportation system. I would definitely recommend it to future travelers.
