Enjoy the countryside minutes away from downtown restaurants, bars and Main Street, in our private, cozy loft studio! Located on 1.5 acres, this clean and comfortable apartment includes a kitchenette with bar-style table, living room and two flat screen Roku TV’s with Netflix, Hulu as well as an electric fireplace, outdoor patio and fire pit. Guests have two parking spaces, a private first-floor entrance, private full bathroom, outdoor dining area, BBQ and fire pit! Pool available seasonably.

Welcome to the country!

Our cozy loft guesthouse is perfectly located whether you’re in town for scenic nature and open space or destination attractions like the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets and Legoland theme-park!

The private guest space boasts an outdoor patio with fire pit, sitting area, bistro dining set, an umbrella for shade and gas barbeque grill. Guests have access to two parking spaces. Please note: while the guest house is private and separate from our main residence, we live on the property. Guests may come in contact with us, our children and pets during your stay.

The unit includes a fully stocked (courtesy snacks provided but no food or coffee included) kitchenette with a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, hot plate for cooking and small bar-style seating area.

A love seat, flat screen Roku TV with Netflix and electric fireplace separate the kitchenette area from the bedroom space.

The loft bedroom has a queen size bed with 2 nightstands, table lamps, and stackable drawers are provided for clothing storage. There’s a full-sized bed, nightstand and dresser with space to hang clothes in the second bedroom space.

Please be advised that due to the loft-style nature of the upstairs of the unit, ceiling clearance in some areas is low.

POOL (May 31st-Sept 1st) use is $25 per day (up to 3 hour time slots, no day guests). Please inquire about guest use hours. Times must be coordinated and approved by host for privacy since it is otherwise a shared feature.

Our property is located on 1.5 acres in the country.

Fire pit use: We do not allow the use of real wood for safety and have long-lasting and hassle-free fire logs available for your convenience for $9.99 a log. These synthetic fire logs are also available for purchase at most grocery and convenience stores.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow smoking of any kind, drug use or excessive alcohol use on the property. If you are looking for a place to party, this is not the listing for you.

While we respect the right to have service animals, guests with special needs should strongly be aware that we have a dog on the property that does not do well with other animals. For that reason, we kindly ask those guests with service animals to consider booking an alternate Airbnb to avoid a safety issue for both our animals and ourselves.

Please note that due to the loft-style of the studio, ceilings may be low in some areas.

We allow guest use of our pool (see host for times and fee) but please note, even though we will not be in the pool when you are scheduled to do so, our home and deck is near the pool area and pool deck - so you may see us!

Our home and guesthouse are supplied by natural well water. It is safe to drink but may have a different odor, taste and smell than guests accustomed to municipal city/town water are used to. Bottled water to drink is provided from a water cooler in the unit for guest use.

We have two dogs, Roxy (a black lab) and Bleu (a blue Heeler), who love to run around on our property in the confines of their electric fence. They are barkers but are harmless (and love people/petting)!

Located 60 miles north of NYC, we are an easy 10 minute drive from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and conveniently located near popular attractions like Legoland, the Storm King Art Center, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, hiking and ski trails, ice skating and more! There’s a full sized grocery store with bakery and hot deli in town a few minutes away, along with boutique shops, restaurants, bars and park. Our home and guest house is on a beautiful country road and is situated on 1.5 acres. For those looking to embrace the full country experience, we have chickens to see and are close to a lovely farm with chickens you can feed, fresh food and baked goods sold. Accessible from NYC by an approximately 1-hour train or bus ride. A car or Uber is needed for getting around locally.
