Raffaele's apartment was perfect for a long weekend away. It's just steps away from the beach, snack bars, and restaurants. The apartment is super clean, and is fully equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator (stocked), and barbecue. And last but not least, the views are spectacular. I cannot wait to return.

This is our second time, second year in a row, staying at Raffaele's. It will certainly not be the last. Raffaele himself is the epitome of the hospitality trait, tradition, and deep-seeded culture that distinguishes the whole area of the Gulf of Naples and the Sorrento Peninsula in particular. Marina del Cantone/Nerano is an enclave of peace and simple, natural elegance, with scents and flavors unique to the place. We cannot capture into words the moments we spent there, and on Raffaele's balcony in particular. Having a local Sorrento tomato sliced next to some fior di latte, and drizzled with local olive oil on that balcony while you are still covered in sea water, looking at that little bay is the best experience you could give yourself. Positano is overrated... by a lot...

Raffaele's place is right next to the Stoney beach. As the place is on the top level of a small complex, it offers you unblocked view of the gorgeous beach and the sea towards Capri It's relatively quiet location (compare to the busy towns like Amalfi & Sorrento) is perfect for a relax retreat and the restaurants around are amazing, some places must try. Highly recommended if you are doing road trip and want a relax retreat next to the sea, without being interrupted by the crowd. Last but not least, there's easy transport to Capri in the beach which gives a perfect option if you are planning to do a visit.

LIVING THE DREAM ! Raffaele's place at Marine del Cantone was our best Airbnb experience so far - a romantic getaway right at the sea/beach with a vast variety of restaurants and the best (home-made) icecream place in the region! We especially liked the hidden walking path leading to the next bay. We spent an unforgettable week at the Amalfi Coast thanks to you Raffaele ! Thank you so much and see you soon ! All the best !

Amazing little apartment with a breathtaking view! Raffaele's small apartment is really quite impressive. He had a cold bottle of champagne and fresh cut strawberries waiting on us upon arrival, as well as a surprising stock of food and drinks in the little apartment. There was also a lot of toiletries that we did not expect to find (toothpaste, deodorant). The apartment was very clean and the view really is amazing. We spent so much time on our porch looking out over the sea. This rental and area of Italy was our favorite that we visited the entire week of our honeymoon in Italy and I highly recommend it! I will say the only negative thing about this rental was getting to it. This was partially our fault for not better researching how to get to the small town of Marina Del Cantone and we had traveled here from Venice the day of check in so we were extremely tired and frustrated by the time we arrived. However, the apartment totally made up for this once we arrived. (We are from America, but were traveling from a short stay in Venice the day we checked in to Raffaele's apartment so some of these tips might not apply to you depending on where you're coming from). TIPS TO GET THERE FOR FUTURE RENTERS: •From Napoli train station -We arrived on the frecciarossa high speed train from Venice. -To get to the apartment you'll need to change train lines. -You do this in the same train station. -Take the Circumvesuviana "Campania Express" train from Naples to Sorrento -SAME STATION but downstairs. -The train takes about an hour •Once you get to Sorrento -You'll need to take a bus (the grey ones) that pick up outside of the train station to Nerano/Marina Del Cantone. I'm not sure how much this costs because we arrived after the busses stopped routes for that day. -so LOOK UP THE BUS SCHEDULE AHEAD OF TIME. -If you miss the busses DO NOT agree to take a cab outside of the train station unless you have agreed on a price already. (The cab drivers will wait outside of the station once busses have stopped for the day, knowing they can try to charge you whatever because they're you're only method of transportation). So we got totally ripped off and knew we were but just wanted to get to the rental by this point in our crazy day so we paid 100€ for a 30 minute ride to Nerano. THIS SHOULD COST NO MORE THAN 50€. Please don't let them take advantage of you. • I highly suggest activating your phone for international use, as we needed it multiple times throughout our week of travel in the country. We used our phone to contact Raffaele once the cab dropped us off and he met us at the bus stop and walked us to the house from there. Another note about the apartment- I noticed a few others reviews mention...

This apartment is fantastic. My wife and I stayed there for 4 days and we both could have stayed there for 4 months. It was small "short" on the inside but nearly all of our time was spent on the deck soaking up the sun listening to the sea crash against the shore. The kitchen inside is small but, there is another kitchen outside that works great. I can't say enough about the location of the apartment. We could even hear the sea with the porthole open as we slept. Raffaele was a very accommodating host as well. He was very kind and got us set up in the apartment when we arrived. It was really like staying with a good friend because the apartment had everything you could need. Absolutely wonderful!

The accomodation was wunderful and it was very close to the sea. The best thing was the sunbalcony behind the flat. Many thanks to Rafaele. He was very nice and helpful. We would like to come back.
