Nestled on top of Paris Mountain, this private, 1-bedroom above-garage apartment is our guests’ home away from home. Equipped with a full kitchen and W/D, the cottage was designed with long term stays in mind. High speed WiFi so our guests can stay connected. A spacious deck offers the perfect place to relax and experience serene nature sounds and a sky full of twinkling stars at night. Within a quarter mile walk is an entrance to Paris Mountain State Park for hiking and mountain biking trails.

The space
The cottage is located above a detached garage. The main house is also rented for long-term stays. Both the apartment and the main house are completely private spaces with no shared entrances. The only shared space is the garage below, where you may dispose of household trash. This is a peaceful, quiet oasis, we have quiet hours between 10 PM-8 AM.

Guest access
You have the entire apartment to yourself, and your own Washer/Dryer and Full Kitchen. Both our garage apartment guests and main house guests are welcome to use the firepit in the yard. Trash disposal for all guests is located in the garage below.

Other things to note
Our little cottage is located in a private community on top of Paris Mountain, and requires a drive up Altamont Road which can be steep on some short sections, and curvy in many. It’s a double lined, county maintained road and perfectly safe, however it does require alertness and caution.

There are some steep grades and tight turns to get you here, but once here, it’s an oasis. The prevailing wind up the mountain keeps the bugs at bay and the temps lower in the summer. Yall know South Carolina is HOT!

The cottage is tucked above a detached, 3-car garage. The main dwelling is adjacent, and is occupied by long term tenants. The entrances are totally separate.
