Susi was an exceptional host. She picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, and she was incredibly responsive to our questions, helping us work out train schedules and accommodations for our ongoing travels. As we speak no Chinese and were traveling by train and bus, Susi's command of English and her willingness to help us was a great asset. Plus, the breakfasts she served were so delicious that I was wishing I could have it for dinner also. Each day was different, featuring not only local specialities but international treats. We really enjoyed our stay there!
Susi was an incredible host. We loved starting each day at Taroko Gorge with Susi's breakfasts - the best we had in Taiwan - that we extended our stay. Susi arranged for us a once-in-a-lifetime guided walk in Taroko up the old Japanese 'road' - a narrow cliffside track - and to a wild hot spring in the river that I'll never forget.
Susi was very nice with us ! She came to the railway station to pick us. She provides us a lot of good advices on how to visit Hualien and Taroko. (how to go there, rent a scooter,ect..) The room was nice and the breakfast also. The guesthouse is not far from Taroko and the railway station. I really recommand this place ! :)
