Peace and quiet

This home is in a quiet area.
Swim, sun, bike, shop, explore, dine, and relax! Also perfect size for a reading, sewing or art retreat with friends! Easy access to Rail Trail, historic sites, National Seashore, and bay beaches from this two bedroom, one bath, bright and sunny cottage! Fully equipped kitchen, large deck, fire pit, large front yard, outdoor shower, and lawn chairs. Beach chairs, boogie board, umbrella and coolers also provided. Cranberry Cottages quiet hours 11:00pm-8:00am. Sorry, no pets.

The space
Located in Cranberry Cottages, a traditional Cape Cod cottage colony for over 50 years, the cottages still retain their authentic appeal. Fourteen cottages dot the 5+ acres which are set back well away from the road and are accessed by a private road. The area is home to pine, locust, and oak trees, flowering shrubs, birds, and small wildlife.

Other things to note
Check-in 4pm; Check-out 10:00am. mid June, July and August weekly Sat-Sat rentals; rest of season 3 night minimum; 8' x 16' deck; picnic table; shed on premises w 2 smaller coolers, boogie board, gas grill and beach chairs. Board games, cards, puzzles; Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap provided; fully equipped kitchen; full bathroom/shower with also a hot water outdoor shower. Guest responsible for sheets, pillowcases, towels, toiletries. Linen service can be arranged for an additional fee.

Neighbourhood highlights

A peaceful and relaxing setting with easy and close access to a wide variety of historic sites, the Cape Cod National Seashore, the Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary, and other towns/shopping/restaurants. Coast Guard Beach in Eastham has been a lifelong favorite as has the Hot Chocolate Sparrow (cafe/bakery/chocolatier), Cottage Street Bakery, and Bird Watchers' General Store- all within 5 minute drive in Orleans. Fort Hill, Eastham Windmill, Nauset Lighthouse, and First Encounter (bay) Beach are also nearby.

A back road makes it a very short hop to the 25.5 mile Cape Cod Rail Trail which wends its way through the towns of Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, and Wellfleet.

My family camped in Brewster for many years starting when I was six weeks old - it was then a joy to bring my daughters to the Cape when they were growing up. Many times while living in Kansas for 40 years, I dreamt of owning a cottage on the Cape. Once I moved back East, that became a reality, and I am so happy to share my cottages with you.
