Welcome to Lafayette! We’re pleased to invite you into our private entrance basement suite. There are lots of restaurants, stores, and breweries just minutes away in Lafayette and Louisville. We are located 8 miles from Boulder, 13 miles from Denver , and 1 hour from Rocky Mountain N.P.
The space
Your space is located on the lower level of our 3 story townhouse. It has a private entrance at the back of the house with an outdoor sitting area. Due to the fact that this is part of our home, please be aware that you will hear normal daily life.
Since we are right upstairs, feel free to ask us any questions you may have. We love getting to know our guests and provide any recommendations that you may want.
Please be aware that we have a new puppy, and we are making every effort to minimize any additional noise. Thanks for your understanding.
Our home is an end unit town-home in a quiet neighborhood. 15 min walk to Wanaka Lake park for gorgeous sunsets over exceptional views of the Rockies. 5-10 min drive to both Lafayette/Louisville downtowns with delicious breweries and great restaurants. 10 min walk across the pedestrian bridge (located just to the north of the parking lot) to get to the local Sprouts Market.
**HOUSE RULES**
-Please remove shoes upon entering the home. There is a shoe rack right outside the sliding glass door.
-No Parties, this will be grounds for immediate eviction
-No smoking of any kind inside the house or on patios (per our HOA bylaws). Please smoke out in the parking lot or on the sidewalk on Minotaur Dr.
-No Pets allowed, if a service animal is brought to the home the hosts must be notified and additional cleaning fees will apply.
-Quiet hours begin after 10 PM, please be respectful of our neighbors
-Most importantly, enjoy your stay! We believe that travel is one of the great joys of life and want to create a memorable experience for all our guests!

Your space will have a 4 digit code to the lockbox that has the key to open the glass sliding door.
Other things to note
The A.C and heat is controlled upstairs. Please just ask if the temperature that is set is not to your liking. The vents over the bed can help control some of the temperature. There is a fan as well as a space heater available so that you are comfortable.
There is a desk if you need a work space. The directions are on the desk to help set it up.
The drinks in the fridge are free. We find that some guests leave them, which can be your gain. Share one, take one, replace one!
According to our HOA regulations there is NO smoking of any kind on our property. This includes patios and decks. If you would like to smoke please be away from the homes, or there can be a potential violation fee. You can smoke in the parking lot or sidewalks near the street. Thanks for following our guidelines.
We know that we can't make everyone happy, but that is our goal. Things to take into consideration before writing a review for our space.
Location: Please look at the location on the map before booking to make sure it is a good fit for you. Just because we love where we live, doesn't mean you will.
Accuracy: We want to be upfront and honest about the description of our space, but know it may not always meet all of your needs. For example, the A.C. has a hard time reaching the top floor as it is an older home, please be aware. We know it's hot in Colorado in the summer. We installed a house fan to help mitigate that.
Value: The price of our home is set according to market demand and is considerably cheaper than a hotel in Boulder County.
Cleanliness: We have a cleaning service but know that they are human and make mistakes. If something is not to your liking, please contact me immediately so that I can resolve the issue. (Example: Not enough toilet paper, bed linen doesn't look clean, out of soap)
Communication: We do our very best to respond in a timely fashion, but sometimes we take breaks from our phones.
