When you return, your host provides great recommendations for local restaurants for dinner. Great place to stay. Coastal beach feel of the village is reflected in this charming home; step inside for an immaculate, well appointed and comfortably cozy stay. Mary Ann provided great breakfasts, recommendations for local favorites and was a lovely host! Definitely would return!

Mary Ann was a fantastic host and her place is great! She gave me a great binder with lots of suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc. She also always had breakfast made for me which was awesome because I left early every morning and cafes weren't open then. I didn't spend much time staying in but her place felt very welcoming and she had everything I needed and more. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend Mary Ann to anyone traveling to Seward! Thanks Mary Ann!!

Mary Ann greeted us upon arrival. Showed us to our room and offered us travel advice. Coffee maker in the room along with a mini fridge, that was already supplied with breakfast for the next morning. Great location in Seward; however, the check-in at 6:30 p.m. and check-out by 10 a.m. was not ideal for the cost of the room. Mary Ann supplied a cot and extra bedding that one of us slept on each night. The dining table in the room was quite large for a small area. We also noticed that our toiletries and various other items were moved around during the room cleaning, certain items were also taken from our room to the bathroom, which seemed odd. We asked if our room could not be cleaned one day since we would be in and out of the room, and preferred our items to left in place, but there was some confusion on that. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room did not meet our expectations. Overall, it was an overly priced place to rest our heads.

Mary Ann was a wonderful hostess, with a cute home, and she made us right at home. She had great dinner recommendations and helped us make reservations for our boat cruise. She also made breakfast for us in the morning, which was really nice!

I had an excellent experience staying at Mary's B and B. The breakfast prepared each morning was always a treat worth looking forward to, and as far as location - Arctic Paradise couldn't be more convenient. Mary was extremely helpful in booking various adventures (Paddle boarding, Ice-Climbing, you name it!) for my friend and I. Would recommend to anyone!

Hi! I live in the most beautiful place in the world and would love to share that with you! I am a wildlife biologist, artist, dancer, musician and entrepreneur. I have lived in Alaska for 11 years and started Arctic Paradise B&B in 2002.

My love of animals and nature led me to be a wildlife biologist which I have been doing for 25 years. With my local knowledge of the area, wildlife and other businesses, I can help you make the most of your trip by helping to set you up on some great adventures so that you can see some of the amazing scenery and wildlife of this area whether you want to do it by boat, air, underwater or on foot

I am a really creative person and love to create one of a kind stained glass wine and martini glasses and other items and also create one of a kind jewelry. I like to share that with you by serving your breakfast in stained glass dishes that I created and also offer wholesale prices on my artwork to guests.

I also love dancing and music, and started a music and dance company several years ago called Kaleido World Percussion and Dance. I’m a certified American Tribal Style Dance instructor and regularly teach others how to dance and play middle-eastern music on traditional drums and other instruments. Do you want to explore your creative side? Let me know and I am happy to give private lessons in music, dance or jewelry making during your visit.

Besides all the really fun stuff I already mentioned, I like to fly airplanes, scuba dive, kayak, hike, travel, collect wild berries and mushrooms and hang out with friends.

I have tried to make my B&B everything that I would want if I were traveling. It’s beautiful, comfortable, cozy, safe, private and unique. I hope you will come and visit! If you would like to know more, feel free to check out my
