The Lahr vacation home is a detached house in Waldstatt (Canton Appenzell – near St. Gallen) on a large property. It offers great comfort (free internet (fiber optic), garage and parking for cars) and is ideally equipped for families with 4 to 6 people. There are three bedrooms (one with balcony), a large kitchen with all imaginable extras and granite countertops, two bathrooms (one with washing machine), a living room, storage room and basement.

The space
The car can be loaded and unloaded in the garage. In addition, a bed, high chair and a special backpack (with which the child can be carried during hikes) are available for toddlers.

Skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, winter hiking, ice skating and much more are possible in winter. There are several ski resorts nearby (please note that snow removal, if desired, is subject to a charge).
In summer, mountain hiking, hiking, swimming (also in the outdoor pool only 50 meters from the house), paragliding, cycling, golf and much more are possible. The nearby cable cars make it easy to reach the peaks. Living in your own house at 850 meters above sea level and enjoying the countryside and the mountain panorama with unobstructed views in all directions – this is what is offered here. The large garden, terrace and balcony are available for exclusive use. 50 meters away there is a heated outdoor pool with playground and gastronomy. The vacation home is located about 10 km from St. Gallen with cultural offerings such as a historic monastery, museums, theaters, galleries, art galleries, casinos, cafes, restaurants, pedestrian zones, etc. Water sports, sailing, windsurfing and swimming are very attractive on Lake Constance (25 km away) in summer.
The nearby golf course in Gonten (15 min. by car - 18-hole course, par 70) - 910 meters above sea level, which offers interesting playing possibilities due to its mountain location, is very interesting. A paragliding school is close by. Hikes can also be started from the house. Cycling, mountain hiking and even a child-friendly zoo visit in nearby Gossau are just a fraction of the many possibilities.
