Great Hagley Bunkhouse is located on a small country estate in an area of outstanding national beauty.
There are many activities on the estate including a 520m zip wire, low ropes challenge course, and much more.
It is the perfect location for families or groups to get-together.
Great Hagley is based in a walkers & bikers paradise with two national mountain biking trails on the doorstep.

The space
The property is a stone cottage that has been turned into a warm and cosy bunkhouse that sleeps 16 people in four bedrooms with three shower rooms. Two of the upstairs bedrooms sleep 8 people each in bunk beds. The 2 downstairs rooms sleep 3 people in a 1 bunk, 1 single bed configuration.
In the bunkhouse there are mattress protectors & pillows on each bed. We encourage guests to bring sleeping bags or their own bedding. We can provide bedding at an extra charge of £15 per bed.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with a large kitchen table. There are picnic benches outside the bunkhouse.
Larger groups are required to hire our activity lawn for exclusive use in the evenings between 18 00hrs and 09 00hrs for a small extra charge.  This takes any noise away from our family home and other guests that may be staying in on site. The field is based where our zip line ends and is about a five-minute walk from the bunkhouse. We are happy to help ferry you or your food & drink up there in our mule or you can park your own cars relatively close to the field, but not on it. Here you can enjoy the vast area of open space, whilst enjoying the fabulous scenery.  There is a fire pit, BBQ area with equipment, out-door seating, W.C with basin and sports equipment.  Music can be played until 11.30pm but after that, we must consider our local neighbours and we ask for this to be turned right down or off.
There is ample parking outside the bunkhouse and mountain bikes can be locked away safely.

We also offer weekend packages for group bookings to include accommodation, catering, bed linen and activities.

Other things to note
We do accept groups wanting to enjoy themselves, but unfortunately, due to past experiences, we are unable to take groups of under 25 year olds.

We are excited to be able to offer accommodation which is nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the South Shropshire countryside. Great Hagley is 1,200 feet above sea level with fantastic unspoiled views. It is a haven of tranquillity and peace. The ultimate rural retreat. The Estate has two properties, The Annex and The Bunkhouse that are available to rent for long weekends or week-long holidays. Whether you’re enjoying an escape for two in The Annex or bunking down with 20 of your friends in The Bunkhouse, both of our residences are private and equipped with everything you could need. The Estate offers many activities, including a 520m zip line, low ropes Tiger Challenge course and much more so you do not need to drive anywhere to enjoy an action-packed stay. For those that prefer peace and tranquility, there are numerous walks through the estate and fantastic photography opportunities while watching the birds and wildlife.
