Lovely apartment, close to the Unesco area of Georgetown. Was travelling as a family of 5, including 3 teenagers, and found the house was just what was required. Building has been recently renovated and is well appointed. Street outside could be noisy but I think this applies anywhere in the central area of Georgetown. Overall, a great place to stay and Sem was easy to deal with.

Sem was a really nice host - the check in was really easy - he welcomed us & showed us around the flat and then we were free to explore! The place is really easy to find, it is a pretty good location and - wow - it is a very nice place to stay. Comfortable, clean & nicely designed. It is so interesting to actually stay in a Penang shophouse, rather than just look at them from the outside. It really enhanced our experience of the city. The only thing that was a bit annoying were the cockroaches - we had one night of heavy rain whilst staying there and so we had an influx of roaches under the front door area. We know this isn't Sem's fault as the house is so clean and well maintained, it is just a symptom of the area maybe. A rubber strip under the door might stop them entering? Overall though, I would definitely stay here again. 5* :)

The location was very nice as it was close to many delicious food stalls on our list. Sem did a great job ensuring the apartment's setting was optimally comfortable and welcoming. Although the place can feel warm on the hotter days, the air conditioning was sufficient for a good night's sleep. We wouldn't mind returning for a second stay!

The property was a perfect venue for a large group of 6! Living spaces were very comfortable. Bedroom and bathroom facilities were very clean! Surrounding streets were residential properties and that allowed us to get a taste of what it feels like to stay in a local community. Sem was a great host who made the entire experience pain-free!

I love traveling. Never stop dreaming about Bora-Bora Island. I'm also passionate about interior designing, crazy about collectible toys and antiques and I'm a huge LEGO enthusiastic ;-) Lastly, I'm a dog lover and I have a lovely Maltese named Burger. She love fruits and secretly wish she were a bird ;-)

While most people eat to live, me and my family live to eat !!
