Details for the wood fired hot tub just outside the Loft within it's private garden- please let us know when you book whether you would like to use this for an additional cost of either £75 if you're happy to light and heat the tub yourself with all materials and instructions provided, or £100 for us to light it and get it up to temperature for you for you on the first evening of your stay.

It can take a few hours to get it up to temperature. Bear this in mind if you’re planning to light and stoke it yourself. The cost covers your whole stay, you may light it yourself on consecutive day’s during your stay. There may be a small extra charge for wood used after the first couple of uses if you’re staying for a longer period and use it several times.

It’s a good idea to bring flip flops or slippers to get from the cabin into the hot tub, it’s not far, just across the external decking just outside the Hay Trailer. Robes are provided.

The Loft is surrounded by a beautiful garden, and hilly countryside all in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Cotswolds with wonderful walks, many along a brook, which you can reach from the bottom of the garden via a public footpath, and explore in either direction from here, either up to Marshfield, or along to Batheaston, along unspoilt footpaths and country lanes. So it's all right on your doorstep.

We are just 5 miles from the Heritage city of Bath.

There are 2 Pubs 2 miles away in Marshfield selling good food.

Batheaston has some takeaway food options too.

Guest access
The Loft is self contained within a rural property with its own private parking space right outside. It is up on the first floor, making it feel tucked away from the rest of the property. It feels secluded as a result.

You have private access to the Loft and do not share access with anyone else.
There is also a private gate from the driveway near the parking space into the garden area so you can access the Loft form both sides.

Other things to note
The Loft is situated in a large garden where three generations of our family live. The garden and grounds are situated on a hillside which means the areas are nicely separated and there is plenty of space for everyone to have their own space and privacy.

The Loft is a magical location and has featured in many publications including 'Living Life Beautifully' by Cico Books.

It has been lovingly designed and created in Cabbages and Roses ‘shabby chic’ style. Brook Cottage is the birth place of Cabbages and Roses, the quintessentially British soft furnishing and clothing company.
