This is a gem. The cabin is located on a peninsula by a fishing lake with a great view of Rundatjønna. You can swim right from the waterfront. In winter, ski trails are nearby. Take a little breather on the terrace and watch

Ski in/out. Rundatjønna 1 in Bortelid in Åseral municipality, Agder in southern Norway. Great location on a peninsula out in the water. Sit and eat breakfast and watch the otters play in the water by the cabin wall. Sunny and close to the center on Bortelids top. This is a cabin that you easily fall in love with and want to spend a lot of time in and by. Words are hard to find that give the cabin a fair review. Everything has been said. In winter, just strap on your skis and you'll be in the ski slopes about 25 m from the cabin. The summer season provides lovely lazy days by the water and on the terrace that catches the afternoon sun rays. Breakfast can have breakfast right in front of the cabin with Rundatjønna around you on 3 sides.
The cabin contains the following. Food storage. Porch, all rooms with well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. Dining table with panoramic views of the water. Living room with corner sofa, coffee table, 2 lovely chairs. Satellite dish and flat screen. Fireplace with window. Loft with sleeping space for 3 people. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Spacious bedroom with extra wide double bed. Access to crib and chair. We warmly welcome you to one of Bortelid's many dream places in terms of location. You can vacation at Bortelid all year round. Winter is the eldorado of ski lovers. Spring, summer and autumn are nature calling for fishing, hunting and nature experiences in abundance. Come and experience the mountain about 1.5 hours drive from Arendal, Kristiansand and Mandal. Our Danish guests are in Bortelid about 5 hours after they leave Jutland and Hirtshals. Welcome to a great holiday in the beautiful Norwegian mountains. Smoking is not allowed and must be enjoyed outdoors. All our cabins offer free fishing licenses during the rental period. Parking about 40 m from the cabin. No toilet.
