Hi there -- we have a comfortable large room with a double and a single bed and shared bath for up to two adults and a child. Our 1895 home is very near the T (Orange line) and many cool Jamaica Plain spots. Sorry, no breakfast and no late arrivals.

The space

We are engaged in a green renovation of an historical home -- stained glass and solar panels -- and, of course, insulation -- lots of it. In addition to a ceiling and box fan, there is now also air conditioning. The room is spacious and includes a desk and chair. The room is on the third floor of a Victorian -- so lots of stairs, but we can help with luggage. The bathroom is on the second floor.

Guest access

Room and shared bath only. Sorry, no kitchen access nor refrigerator space. However, while you should generally leave with what you came with, we're happy to help with your trash and recycling.

Interaction with guests

We will be here and happy to assist with planning and advice.

Other things to note

Because it's an old house with creaky stairs, our place isn't a good choice for guests arriving late or those who would like to stay out late (like past 10:30). The room will be great for a busy person or family here to see the city or on business. Short-term stays only!

Cora was friendly, there to meet us when we arrived and gave us some very good tips about how to use the T train and where to have breakfast. Our room was comfortable and sharing the bathroom was no problem.

It was my first time using airbnb. I was nervous but soon found that it was easy and a great way to save money! I'll be doing this again. I couldn't find the house and Cora was very helpful.

Room is clean and cozy. It as an attic room with sufficient space etc. Location is not the best but it is closed to the T-station so convenient. Cora is extremely helpful. Provides what's promised (wifi and other amenities). I will prefer to stay here again if needed.

2nd time staying at Cora's place, and I always feel safe and comfortable here! Love the neighborhood too. Transit is a breeze.

We enjoyed our stay at Cora's house. I talked more with her husband than with Cora but he was very friendly and helpful and tried his best to give us good tips about Boston. He also helped us with our luggage even tough the room was on the third floor and my suitcase was extremely heavy. The room was exactly as on the pictures. It was also very clean. I would definitely stay again in their house when I'm back in Boston :)
