Located in the coastal region of Ecuador right before the marvelous Andes, we pride ourselves on offering a mindful approach to living the good life. “Deep green” with discrete luxury, a subtle traditional aesthetic, privacy, and graciousness, Hacienda La Danesa models hospitality with enduring expressions of land and family that fosters and sustains the Olsen Peet family charming farmhouse.
Hacienda La Danesa is also a traditional dairy farm that produces about 1,200 liters of milk per day and produces fresh milk, cheese and Dulce de Leche for their guests every morning. It also grows teak and breeds beautiful pinto quarter horses and sources its ingredients from the organic garden and local markets.
Curated experiences embrace the hacienda’s efforts to provide authentic experiences with cacao plantation tours, water tubing in lazy rivers, horse riding, cooking classes, and bike rides. All excursions are focused on preserving local traditions. The hacienda offers daytrips excursions to Cuenca, Churute Mangroves, the Devil’s Nose and other unique experiences.
Guests will enjoy this 1200 acres estate with a personalized service with three rivers, horses, cows, and other experiences.
Interaction with guests
Guests will be served by our chef and a hostess at all times. The Olsen family spends time at the farm too. Guests bedrooms have their own private entrance.

Please be aware that the rate includes accommodation and breakfast. We have a set from farm to table menu and chef where you may order additional meals, snacks and drinks.
We are happy to coordinate transfers from Guayaquil Airport.
