In a rural setting, this beautiful converted property is surrounded by countryside and orchards. It sits in its own grounds of our house offering a haven of tranquility, but close to the village of Marden with a rail connection to London and just 20 mins from Tunbridge Wells with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Nearby attractions include Bewl Water, Bedgebury Pinetum and Hush Heath Vineyard.

The space
The Clock House has its own gated entrance with plenty of parking with outside lighting where you can park. There are no shared amenities and you can come and go as you please. All on ground floor with a modern and spacious open plan living. The Air conditioning in the living room will cool you down in the the summer and keep you warm on those chilly days. There is a well equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, iron & ironing board, kettle & toaster with French doors opening out to the garden with outside seating, a real suntrap where you can enjoy alfresco dining, while taking in the pleasant garden views. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk is supplied along with a welcome hamper.
Two large comfy sofa's and a four seater dining table and chairs complete the open plan feel. There is a TV with built in DVD and a selection of reading books and games to keep everyone entertained.
The bathroom has a large luxury shower (big enough to put a seat or baby bath in) with drench head and handheld attachment, instant hot water is supplied, heated towel rail, vanity sink and WC. Towels are provided.
Off of the main room is bedroom 1, carpeted with double bedside tables with lamps, dressing table, mirror and stool, hairdryer and a glass fronted large wardrobe complete with hangers. The second bedroom also coming off the main living room is carpeted with 2 single beds, bedside table and lamp, single wardrobe complete with hangers and chest of drawers. Bed linen is supplied.
The garden is fenced off and has a gravel patio area with garden furniture, a lawned area to the front and a covered area to the side with a cycle rack and clothes line.

Other things to note
Due to Covid 19, in accordance with new guide lines and for the safety of our guests, non essential items that are impractical to clean have been removed to reduce the risk of viral transmission. These items include books, leaflets, maps, toys and games, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
We're also taking extra care to sanitise high touch surfaces using cleaners and disinfectants approved and wear protective gear whilst cleaning to help prevent cross contamination.
Extra cleaning supplies are provided if you wish to clean while you stay.

If you enjoy fishing, Claygate fishing lakes are very close by and there are golf courses & riding stables nearby. Many National Trust properties including Sissinghurst gardens & Scotney Castle. Bedgebury Pinetum offers excellent bike routes and lovely walking. Further afield you could plan a day trip to Camber with its miles of sandy beaches or Historic Rye.
