About this listing

Very convenient location in the centre of the Old Town - Charles Bridge and Astronomical clock 3 minutes. Three rooms for 5 guests which are part of a larger 4-room apartment. My son Christophe occupies one of four rooms in the apartment.

Extra people: £23 / night after the first guest

The space

If you want to be close to the most attractive sites of Prague's Old Town, like Tower clock and Charles bridge, even Wenceslas square, this is your right choice. Even though the apartment is right in the heart of Prague, it is surprisingly calm with amazing rooftop views.

Guest access

Even though my son Christoph occupies one of the rooms in the apartment, the bathroom is fully available to the guests, is not shared. There are two kitchens in the apartment so one of the kitchens is fully available to guests only. A small fridge is available for the guests to store their own food, drinks and groceries.

Interaction with guests

There is my son Christophe living long-term in another separate room of the apartment who is open and willing to help with any questions and usually welcomes the guests and takes care of their check-ins and check-outs.

The neighbourhood

This is the place where the medieval spirit of Prague will overwhelm you. On the other hand you can also indulge in all modern life expectations including the night life, excellent restaurants and bars, art galleries, concerts etc. Please, view the map with the tips beneath.

Getting around

The nearest yellow line metro station is Narodni Trida and the nearest green line's station is Mustek. The nearest tram station is called Narodni Trida(by TESCO supermarket). The tram #22 will take you to the Castle - stops to get off are called "Prazsky hrad" or "Pohorelec". The tram #9 will take you to the main Railway station - the stop is called "Hlavni nadrazi".

Other things to note

Amazing views through the windows.

Great apartment in the heart of old town. A few min walk to all the hot spot tourist areas. The apartment is similar to the older style apartments in europe. We had our own apartment, but there was also a shared common space. Pros: amazing location, responsive host, well priced. Cons: bathroom in shared common space and not within private apartment. Would highly recommend! Thank you Jana and Krystoff!!

Bad experience! My fault - I didn't notice that the host lives there in the same time. We didn't expect that we would have to go to the bathroom through the kitchen and host's rooms! It's not like separate flat, really. Then, we hadn't an access to one room which is on photo (bed with red cover). In general, photos are much better than the reality. Host's stuff was everywhere, rooms were not clean and tidy. So, we decided to find another place to stay after 10 min in that aps. Fortunately, Jana gave back some money.

Response from Jana:
Few things I do disagree with are that: The flat was not clean and tidy - I spent some 4 hours hoovering, swabbing, do the dusting etc. What host´s stuff do you mean? Furniture in common corridor? boots in entrance hall? I prepared sleeping for Daria and her mother in two large rooms with the best view and its own kitchen corner. Due to this, I did not accommodate them in red covered room.

The location in this place is amazing, truly in the city center of Prague. The listing is described as an entire place although this is to me a private room. Jana was kind enough to provide towels, linens and breakfast in the fridge for us to enjoy. Perfect place if you want to be in the center of one of the most beautiful cities in eastern europe.

Perfect location, with the courtyard making the apartment safe and quite. In comparison to a hotel room - the apartment was huge and felt homey, and the beds were so comfortable. Kristoff was very accomodating and helpful.
