Ferniehirst Log Lodge is a quaint country retreat in the Scottish Borders based in the grounds of Ferniehirst Castle with a wood burning stove for cosy winter evening in an open plan living area. Ideal for families wanting to escape from the busy city to relax amongst rolling hills. With views of the castle from the lodges' sunroom and near to the Historic town of Jedburgh. An ideal based to explore Scotland's amazing heritage on your doorstep.

The space
Log Lodge is a ground floor large lodge with a ramp entrance into a large windowed sunroom looking over Ferniehirst Castle and the Estate beyond, it's grounds and fields with cows and sheep grazing. This leads into a hallway with space for coats and wellies with a large living room/ kitchen branching off to the right. The living room has a large wood burning stove, two comfy sofas and a dining table. The room is L shaped and has a fully fitted kitchen to one end with everything you would need to cook a meal for all the family and all appliances including a dishwasher.

Off the hallway there is a utility room with iron, ironing board and washing machine. Three spacious bathrooms (two with baths and one with a shower).

Further down the hallway is two large bedrooms with two single beds in each and another one bedroom with a king size bed, all are furbished in a country cottage feel in mind with outstanding views of the Scottish country side.

This wooden lodge allows dogs and has ample parking for four cars ideal for families or friends to meet up.

Set with in the grounds of a castle that is lived in by an old Scottish family this Log has extensive space to explore the old heritage and rural countryside.
