Thistle Dew Den is a rustic retreat, nestled on the banks of Frogtown Creek with early check-in's and later check-outs to enjoy more time here at no extra costs. This small, rustic cabin will accommodate 2-4 guests, with full baths located in each bedroom. A fully stocked kitchen to whip up a feast or an intimate dinner for two. Each room has windows, that when lifted will sing a rivers lullaby to blissful dreams.

The space
Beautiful hickory flooring, rough cut lumbered ceilings, open living area with wood stove. Screened in back porch, with hammock, swing, grill, table and chairs, and plenty of seating. Corn Hole for a fun game of bragging rights and an outdoor fire pit for those nights of stories and smores!


We have provided TV at the cabin for our guests with Dish Network cable. A SmartTV on the porch for using your apps or the Netflix that is provided.

This is a RURAL cabin in the woods. The internet may be disrupted and spotty from time to time and usually will correct itself.

This is a true mountain property and depending on the weather, a power outage may occur and if this happens during your stay, we have provided you with an emergency lighting box until Amicalola EMC corrects the issues.

For your convenience we supply you with a large supply of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. Should you run out there are nearby stores for quick pick ups during your stay, however, you should have plenty.

This a smoke-free and pet-free property. NO Smoking and NO pets allowed at any time.

My husband I absolutely enjoy spending as much time in God’s Country as we can. Even though hard work and dedication to our jobs don’t always allow the time we’d like, we do make sure that it’s not just us that we spend our time with...God and Family is always with us! We wanted to create a place that we can share with as many of mountain lovers as we can! This is why Thistle Dew Den was established. A small two bedroom two bath cabin nestled in the North Georgia Mountains, just north on Hwy 129 near Desoto Falls and the Blood Mountain summit, is where you can enjoy God’s beauty. Waterfalls, hiking trails, wineries and wonderful food establishments in nearby counties, like Dahlonega and Helen are only a 30 minutes in any direction. We hope that you will continue to enjoy God’s beauty and if you’d like a place to stay, please consider making Thistle Dew Den your next over night getaway!
