We enjoyed our stay at this cute little spot. We were able to take some bike rides around the area, walked down to the community beach that gives the cabin water access (about a 10 minute walk away), and had some relaxing hot tub time on the porch during cool spring afternoons and starry spring nights! The space was bright, the bed was firm and excellent, the view of ocean and mountains was fantastic and there was a large picture window that allowed a view from the lofted bedrooms. The guest info book was informative and helpful, and Paul and Patti were very responsive throughout.
Based on the pictures and the map shown on airbnb, we were expecting a cabin right on the water, so we were surprised to find it was in a waterfront community, about a 10 minute walk away from the water. There were neighbors close by on both sides as well, so less privacy than we pictured. We still had a great time though, and we recommend the spot based on lovely ocean and mountain views, a quiet neighborhood, a bright, sunny interior, and a great little hot tub. The hot tub made the experience. Just expect to be in a bathing suit in view of the neighbors (they won't be looking anyway).
Tips for your stay: bring charcoal, lighter fluid, and a lighter to grill. Bring a bathing suit. And consider bringing all your groceries so you don't need to take a trip to the local stores on the island. The best one is about 15 minutes away, although there is a very limited country store about five minutes away.
