Great place to stay when in Hobart in an ideal location. Accommodation was very clean and exactly as described. Stayed here as 4 adults and an infant and had plenty of room both inside and out in the lovely courtyard. Communication with Nathalie was easy and prompt and would highly recommend the apartment.

Great location a stone's throw from all the great restaurants of Battery Point and Salamanca market, yes very quiet and tucked away. Apartment was perfect for us staying with our baby with a box of toys. The perfect base for 5 days exploring Hobart and around.

The place was really lovely and Nathalie as a host was just wonderful! She was exceptionally accommodating for us and really made our trip great. The unit is really nice for families and we were 2 x couples and had heaps of room. There's excellent cafes and restaurants which are just a short walk and then Salamanca square is only a 5 minute walk so the location was fantastic. Overall we were so happy with everything we really felt comfortable.

The property is in a great location in Battery Point and was the perfect base from which to explore Hobart. It's spacious and conveniently located for shops, pubs, restaurants, public transport, etc and was perfect for our stay. The property description is very accurate. There was a minor issue with the plumbing during our stay - while an inconvenience, it did not detract from the quality of our stay. We would stay here again, if the property is available on our next visit.

We loved the location of Nathalie's flat, and it provided a good base for our family to explore Hobart. Lovely places in easy reach, like a cafe with awesome pastries and coffee for breakfast, a family friendly hotel with a good pub meal, and a playground for the kids. Also, the fact that the property comes with a lock up garage meant we never had to hunt for a parking spot in Battery Point -a very valuable inclusion for this property. We were able to walk to Salamanca Market, and noticed so many people trying to park within walking distance. A couple of things let us down which did affect our enjoyment of the property. One was that when we went to use the washing machine, the rubber seal was filled with mouldy gunk and other people's hair. We attempted to clean it out, which we did, but there is a permanent mold stain there from years of neglect. We also found solid, caked up powder in the dispenser that required removal before using. We contacted Nathalie and she was very apologetic. I'm sure she'll arrange its frequent cleaning from now on. We also could not manage to get the dishwasher to work (it kept showing FAULT 1, which when you (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) it for that brand indicates several issues) and so we had to go old school with hand washing, which is tricky with a family of four and meant we spent considerable time dealing with this instead of relaxing. Nathalie did offer to send a repair person, however we really didn't want to sit around to meet a technician, when we are on holiday, and had limited time and a packed itinerary. The final thing that made things difficult was the very uncomfortable beds. The second room mattress really was past its use by date, but is likely not noticed by most visitors as they would be sleeping in the main bedroom - a mattress which likely also needs replacing. We appreciated Nathalie's communication, and were the above issues to be fixed, we would certainly stay there again.

Upsides and downsides to this place. Upsides: Really excellent location near Salamanca in a groovy, historic suburb with a fabulous bakery nearby. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Loads of space. Excellent communication from Nathalie and she very generously let us stay on way past checkout time when our flight was delayed. Downsides: Mouldy shower, uncomfortable/rickety furniture, noisy neighbours.
