Alexandra's airbnb was the perfect base for our city trip- perfectly appointed and located a short 20 minute drive from town. It was quiet, and the additional treats of breakfast and coffee were a lovely touch! The painted ladies are just a short stroll too- Would absolutely recommend this airbnb!

We had a great stay at Alexandra's place. The bed is super comfy and we slept really well here. It was clean and the same as it looks in the pictures. Self-check in and out was easy. It is walkable to Haight Street where there are yummy breakfasts. There is a massive supermarket just opposite. As people have mentioned before there is no sink in the kitchen, so this place isn't really for cooking and Alexandra asks that you only use the kitchen for heating food/ making toast etc.

Fantastic location in walking distance to all of Northern San Francisco's attractions. Clean & tidy flat with a very comfy bed (great for tackling the jet lag!). Would definitely stay here again.

Alexandra's place is in a good location, it's clean, comfortable and quiet, and the host did her very best to make me feel welcome and always well taken care of, without being intrusive. Thank you for being a great host!

Alexandra's lovely little apartment was the perfect place from which to conduct our San Francisco adventure. We arrived at the end of our honeymoon from Wine country having hiked through the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Yosemite and Humboldt.... which had prepared us well for trekking up the hills of this beautiful city and even running across the Golden Gate Bridge via the Presidio. When our legs finally gave up, the MUNI stop is just outside the house allowing you to get into the city or to the coast very quickly. The neighbourhood is lively with jazz bars in Haight-Ashbury, the fab Nopa on Divisadero (turn up at 5pm and get yourself on the waiting list), and the famous Painted Ladies around the corner. There's a great microbrewery about 20 metres down the street, a Starbucks for your morning coffee and a supermarket across the street. The Mission and Castro are easy to walk to- get some bread at Tartine, eat some ice cream from Bi-Rite and enjoy the sun in Dolores Park. All this would be enough, but throw in a clean well stocked apartment, comfortable bed and the warmth of Alexandra's welcome (and plenty of helpful information well in advance) and you have a lovely home from home. Having met her exuberant happy family only on our third day I just wish we could have spent more time getting to know them- I hope they stay in touch. We quite left our hearts in San Francisco.

Alexandra User ProfileAlexandra is a superhost.

I am a wife and mother of two children, two dogs and a bunny. I love to cook, garden and entertain guests! Originally from Cape Cod, I love to travel and have lived abroad in Italy and Israel. I look forward to hosting you and hope you will enjoy San Francisco as much as I do. We will be very respectful of your privacy but let us know what you need and we will try our best to get that for you. We love meeting new people and sharing a bit of our San Francisco with you.
