We loved our stay here away from the hordes of tourists, felt like living like a local. Plenty of shops around (supermarket, fruit shops, bakeries) and everything you need in the apartment for a comfortable stay (other than no internet, but made for a nice change). Highly recommend staying here. Though a word of warning, there are 2 stations in Stabia and we got lost as we were following directions from the other station. Luckily there's friendly locals around to help!

Antonio was always quick to respond to messages and emails before I arrived in the country and was available the day I arrived. He was waiting for me when I got the apartment and showed me all the facilities of the apartment. He also left me some essential supplies to get me started for my stay. He contacted me on my last morning to wish me a safe trip and hoped he would see me again in the future. The apartment was nicer than I expected and better than the photos implied. It was bigger and brighter than advertised. I was also impressed that the washing machine was in the apartment and not a communal facility. It was a great experience of what it is like to live in the south of Italy. The apartment is ideally located in the centre of Castellammare Di Stabia with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. There is a supermarket literally across the street and the apartment is located close to a station on the Circumvesuviana line. It is convenient for travelling north and south of the town.

Castellamare di Stabia is not the most beautiful city of the region but the appartment was nice, clean and well located (5 minutes from the train Station to Napoli, Pompei and Sorrento and 10 minutes from the Ferry to Capri). Antonio was very kind and helpful during our stay. Grazie !

My girlfriend and I stayed at Antonios place for three nights in the middle of August. The place was clean and is situated quite well in Castellammare di Stabia. Communication with Antonio went very well. For those who want to rent a car: unfortunately the apartment doesn't have its own parking. There is the municipal parking, but it took us a lot of time finding a parking place (probably also due to the Ferragosto-Weekend). Castellammare di Stabia gives you an authentic impression of life in the region, contrary to the amalfi coast which is super touristic. I would recommend this listing!

The room is located in the old town of Castellammare. the building is on a busy street, but the room is very quiet, because the windows faces the back. The building is very old, but the room is renovated and very clean. There is a good equipement. We were two people. The first night I slept on the little folding bed, but, it was not very comfortable for me (I often have back pain). From the second night, I slept on the comfortable double bed and I didn’t have any problems. One hour before arriving we phoned and when we arrived Antonio’s niece was waiting for us. Antonio and his niece were very kind and helpful. Thank you very much.
