Our apartment is centrally located in Koukaki, “one of the top 5 must-visit neighborhoods” in Athens as decreed by Airbnb. The Acropolis and all the main attractions such as Plaka and Thiseio are nearby – it’s just a 15min walk to the Acropolis and a 12min walk to the Acropolis Museum, while the quaint neighborhood of Mets and the Temple of Olympian Zeus can be easily accessed on foot.

The “Syggrou Fix” station with metro, bus and tram connections, is 10 minutes away from your doorstep and the hip and happening pedestrianized Georgiou Olympiou street just two minutes away. Take a stroll and discover traditional meze restaurants (tapas), sophisticated Greek dining places, wine and cocktail bars. With hipster spots and more authentic options available, you can take your pick as your mood strikes.

Bakeries, grocery shops, supermarkets, hairdressers, arts and crafts shops and mini markets abound in the surrounding area so you can find anything you need at all hours of the day.
