The Ilchester Arms Hotel is a charming 16th Century coaching inn that has been tastefully decorated to be stylish and comfortable without loosing the character of its heritage. The rooms are all unique with their own quirky points, differing in size and style they represent hundreds of years of history. The rooms have recently undergone refurbishment with all the basic amenities you would expect in a hotel.

The space
With a train ride to Dorchester South/West stations, & 13 minutes to spare you could be in one of our 9 splendid rooms. All very comforting & offering a relaxed peaceful environment. With some rooms offering large baths, cinema experience TVs, lounges, or truly views to unwind too. All rooms have Egyptian cotton linen & Hypoallergenic pillows. The hotel houses a large library of local & quirky books, interesting & comical DVDs, and displays the artwork of Abbotsbury's finest artists. The stunningly restored restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner, 365 days a year. With freshly baked A. Harrison scones & T. Harrison scrumptious meals on offer daily. The hotel is located in the heart of Abbotsbury, walking distance to the sub tropical gardens, swannary, childrens animal petting farm, St Catherines Chapel on the mount, a dozen walks for all abilities, including the Jurassic Coastal path, with Chesil beach 2 miles down the road and a quirky selection of shops and galleries in market street.
