I booked this for my Mother and Mother-in-law for their holiday. It was much better value than the cost of a hotel and it suited them to have the option to self cater or to book in for food. My Mum especially liked the meals at the venue. Sarah was understanding that I was booking this on their behalf and helped with directing them into the site as the Sat Nav they were using is a little outdated. The self catering accommodation was clean and had everything required. The only improvement would have been a little more sunshine but Sarah cannot control that of course!

A friendly welcome awaited us from Sarah's husband and Ben the dog. Situated in a lovely quiet spot overlooking the valley just outside the village of Sidbury. Our cottage was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Wifi was only available in the bar (which we knew) but occasionally we could access it from our cottage. Plenty of outdoor seating on the deck made a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening too. The grounds are attractive with both swimming pool and tennis court available to use. We were able to extend our stay by a night so with six nights here, there was plenty of opportunity to explore. There are some wonderful villages nearby and the sea is only a short drive away. The Blue Ball Inn at Sidford does a great Sunday carvery too.

We spent a really great time in Sid Valley, Sarah helps you with whatever you need. The landscapes and views from the hotel are amazing and there are lots of beautiful places to visit near the hotel: beaches, national and leisure parks, villages... No better place to spend a family holidays!!!

Everything about our stay in the Milking Parlour was superb...! The setting is even more beautiful than the photos could show, it was easy to find and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived...! The living space we were allocated was well appointed and spotlessly clean without making us feel afraid to make use of all the facilities on offer. I particularly enjoyed using the pool and my husband really appreciated the views and the fact that there were so many easy dog walks in the area. Sarah and her husband Stephen were wonderful hosts - welcming without being intrusive. We will definitely be returning...!
