20 minutes from Brive-la-Gaillarde, 10 minutes from Terrasson, 5 minutes from La Rivière de Mansac (supermarket, bakery, coffee-tobacco, pharmacy, post office...) and the highway, you will enjoy the charm of an exceptional green setting and a breathtaking view of the Correze valleys.
The property, which is located in the heart of a 17 ha estate composed of an orchard, meadows and woods, enjoys the best conditions of calm and tranquility.
The space
A mansion of character
- This 17th century property is still the reunion of our large family today. It is furnished like a lively, simple and family-friendly holiday home.
- With an area of 380 m², it is composed of 7 bedrooms with double beds (two on one level and two on half level) and 1 bedroom with 5 single beds, a very large living room, a beautiful living room with kitchen, 5 bathrooms, 3 toilets (and dry toilets outside), a TV desk, and a laundry room.
- A large room, the Cellar, glued to the house and not heated, allows you to organize small receptions in spring or summer, as long as it is decorated.
- Outside, you can enjoy a large garden on either side of the house, beautiful terrace to eat outside, swimming pool, ping pong table, swing, barbecue, orchard that you can have, and of course the paths and woods of the property to walk around and with a little chance to observe a deer.
- Finally, the parking in front of the house can accommodate about a dozen cars.
Comfort
- Each bed is equipped with pillows, a comforter, and a mattress cover. Blankets are also at your disposal, as well as tea towels and bath mats. On the other hand, we do not provide linens or towels.
- The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster and blender on foot. You will find a second fridge in the laundry room equipped with a large freezer.
- Heating is by boiler on the ground floor and will be, if necessary, already open upon arrival. Upstairs, heating is by electric convectors and oil radiators that you can turn on as you like depending on the rooms you will occupy.
The Region
You can take advantage of your stay to discover some magnificent sites of our region such as the Lascaux caves, the villages of Rocamadour, Collonges-la-rouge or Sarlat. The area also offers a large number of activities for young and old: tree climbing, canoeing, barge ride, giant labyrinth, farmers' markets, farm visits, etc.
Other things to note
IMPORTANT ATTENTION!!
- The pool, not heated, will be open from the END OF MAY (mid May exceptionally in case of very nice weather), and until the last weekend of September.
- At night, the music should be at a reasonable volume, and necessarily indoors after 10 p.m. Sound amplifiers and bass are prohibited as long as they are likely to disturb the neighborhood.
- All the property and its 17 hectares are accessible. Only our caretaker's house and garden remain private. They are separated from ours by walls and hedges, and the caretaker has his own car and pedestrian entrance.
Our guardian and family will be discreet but present. Thank you for always remaining respectful in your relationship with them.
- Garbage management guidelines are explained on-site.
- Furniture items that were moved during the stay must be put back in place before checkout.
- Doors and shutters should be locked and closed upon departure.
- The upstairs heating must be turned off before your departure, but the one on the ground floor left on.
- Finally, for safety reasons, no fires are allowed: fireworks are prohibited and the living room fireplace is not usable.
