House has an adequate amount of space. We had a group of 10 girls and everyone had more than enough room. Walls are a bit thin and doors do not close all the way but if you don't mind the noise in the house it's okay. House was very clean and air conditioned which helped when it got hot. Had a nice front porch to sit out and people watch. $10 uber ride to Bourbon St. and Frenchman St. Very central location.

Thanks Denise! Just want to clarify that the house is very large 2500 sq.ft with 5 separate bedrooms and 11 beds, and large common areas. This 100 year old house has original thick plaster walls and it is a stand alone house meaning it does not share walls with any other house or any other guests - so not sure what you mean about the noise in the house. Glad you found it very clean, a great location and enjoyed the front porch! Re: your comment about difficulty communicating about check in arrangements - you requested both multiple early luggage drop offs ( 9am and throughout the day) AND an early checkin (before regular check in 4pm)- both of which we try to avoid as it's very difficult to prepare this very large house when having to stop work multiple times and be ready early. You were very insistent on this and we accommodated you on both - to do it we had to start at 6am. Another reason we try to avoid this is when we do accommodate early luggage drop offs and early check ins , instead of it being appreciated it ends up blowing back on us. You all were great guests and we highly recommend you, in the future , please consider when a host goes the extra miles to accommodate your special requests that you take that into account.

The set up was good for a big group, (although with only two small bathrooms, it was a bit difficult to manage.) I think it was overpriced for the location. Make sure cab fares and dining out are in the budget for your trip, as this house is not as walkable as it seems and it is not in a very safe neighborhood. Also be prepared for a very involved host whose first priority will be to make sure you know not to roll your luggage on the floor or put it on the bed.

thanks for your feedback Amanda. To address your comments: We are located in the heart of the City, our neighborhood is one of the safest in the City. Our listing description is very clear about distances to major tourist attractions like the French Quarter ( 2 miles ). The location is walkable to a number of restaurants, City Park , Bayou St.John, and other places of interest. As for pricing, for the size of your group, length of stay and dates( very popular time) the price was well within market rates - certainly you would have paid much more to be in the French Quarter ( which is not one of the safer neighborhoods ) - if you could have found availability. Our first priority is our guests - and we were extremely responsive to your needs including at 11pm at night and the next day when we had to clean out the toilet you all stopped up. Extra towels , late check out and your smokers (non smoking property) were all accommodated. We do have rules so the house is not damaged. We also are concerned and will respond when guests are out on the sidewalk late at night drunk, screaming at passerbys. I hope you will come back to New Orleans and hopefully research and find accommodations which better fit for your needs.

This house worked wonderfully for our big Mardi Gras group of 16. Morgan made sure my group had everything we needed (including private space for the 4 couples). There is a good amount of space to gather for food and drinks and the front porch is super nice. There is some really cool artwork up around the house that really captures the New Orleans spirit. Would definitely stay again if I brought a large group to New Orleans in the future.
