Surrounded by calming natural scenery, this is the hidden gem for families, couples, or self-discovery. Experience the quiet, charming, and unique guest home tucked within an expansive wooded property near Lake Leelanau. The location offers easy access to enjoy all the Leelanau Peninsula has to offer and is a 15-minute drive to downtown Traverse City. Come see why we call it Golden Ridge Retreat.

The space
Our guesthouse is a stand-alone structure attached to our pole barn; it's 100 yards from our house (where we live full-time). The space offers a living room, a fully functioning continental kitchen, 1 master bedroom (queen bed), a bonus loft (full bed), and the couch transforms into a trundle bed that houses 2 twin beds. Overall, it sleeps 6.

There is a small yard next to the quarters and a dog kennel behind the barn you're welcome to use. If you're interested in bringing your boat with you, let's talk about it. We have enough space to accommodate boats (at no additional charge), and the Lake Leelanau public launch is close by.

Traverse City, Michigan, United States

The property is at the end of a private road and offers tranquility and stillness. It is the ideal location for inspiration, relaxation, and easy driving access to popular destinations throughout the region.

We are conveniently located in Leelanau County; you have so much to explore. We're about 10 miles from downtown Traverse City, 15 miles to Sleeping Bear Dunes, 3 miles to access the Leelanau Trail, and 8 miles to Moomer's Creamery.

Laketowns, wineries, u-pick orchards, hiking, mountain biking, 3 farmer's markets (Sutton's Bay, Northport, and Traverse City), cycling endless rolling hills and country roads, a number of farm markets (markets at individual farms throughout the peninsula), fruit stands, and beaches - all within easy reach.

My husband, Ryan, and I love Traverse City so much so we decided to call it home and move here full-time in 2019 (from Nashville, TN) with our son and golden retrievers.

We're entrepreneurs and know the value of taking care of people and doing great work. We started a performance coaching company, Deviate (of (Website hidden by Airbnb) in 2010, and have the pleasure of partnering with remarkable leaders nationally. In fact, our clients often come to our home to slow things down and relax (rather than us always going to them). You'll see, our property is best described as a restorative retreat.

We hope you like positive vibes, good attitudes, smiles, and golden retrievers. We're always working on the property and will keep our distance unless you want to engage.

Thank you for considering our home as a safe place to create new memories, restore the soul, and be awed by nature.
