Quiet escape from the world. The Cabin settles into its surroundings with deceptive subtlety, while inside it is surprisingly spacious, with generous views of sunrise and sunset and the comforting sound and view of stream off the deck that runs through backyard. A comfy, open plan with workable kitchen and living/dining space, full of light. There is a cozy fireplace for raining days or cold winter getaways. It is a great gathering spot for a family or group of friends. Dogs welcome too.

The space
Set on 700 acres stitched with trails perfect for hiking, bird-watching, or cross-country skiing. Hudson Valley boasts one of the longest fall foliage seasons in the country. The autumn colors paint the entire valley with rich warmth from September deep into October. When the winter snows fall across the landscape, take out your snowshoes and experience the drifting silence of the woods under its white mantle. In summer, enjoy long days in nature and leisurely evenings next to the stream while sitting around the fire-pit or on the deck.

The Cabin is a short 5 minutes away from several town amenities including a grocery store, that provides farm fresh produce, milk, meats and cheeses. There is a bank, post office and gas station. There are several restaurants including the historic Stissing House restaurant which is located in the center of town and Lia's Italian restaurant just on the edge of town. In the summer there is the Backyard Gardens with live music and outdoor bar and restaurant.
