Town centre flat in beautifully restored listed building. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes. Walking distance to train station for easy access to Bath and Salisbury. Kennet and Avon canal is very near for walking or cycling to Bath or Devizes.
Longleat is nearby as well as several National Trust properties - Stourhead, Westwood Manor, The Courts at Holt and Great Chalfield Manor.
The flat is on two floors with views of the town bridge, the Shambles, Coppice Hill and Silver Street.

The space
The apartment starts at the ground floor entrance where we have provided coat hooks and ask that you please remove your shoes. You will then find the initial flight of stairs which will take you onto the landing and into the open plan living, dining, kitchen area. The next flight of stairs takes you to the two bedrooms and bathroom. The entire apartment is newly refurbished with a lovely similar design running throughout and some beautiful historical features including original beams, Elm floor boards and a fine example of Wattle and Daub with original Elm timbers. There is a delightful light and airy nature to the space.
I do not recommend my apartment for very young children, the two flights of stairs are steep and do not have stair gates. The windows on the top floor are three stories up and do not have child locks.

The apartment is situated above a lovely shop in the historic Shambles. Bradford on Avon is an idyllic town to stay and visit. There are a variety of pubs and restaurants some on the river side. To the right of The Old Oak Door is The Shambles Coffee shop where you can have morning coffee and breakfast!
The apartment is close to the canal which is delightful to cycle along and it is possible to cycle to Bath or the Caen Locks in Devizes. There is a yard at the back of the property and on request I can give you the key for safe storage of bikes during your stay.
