The space
*** We will have our accommodation professionally cleaned, but in this situation, we will pay even more attention to this. We use more disinfectants during cleaning and we make, among other things. Door handles, light switches and other surfaces that are touched are extra clean. ***
Inside, a lovely bed awaits you with freshly crunchy bed linen and a fully equipped kitchen where you can sit down at the long dining table after cooking a delicious meal. After entering the building on the left we have our living room where you can spend a wonderful evening on the sofa. Here is also a TV that is equipped with a Chromecast, with which you stream your favorite series from your phone to the TV. In addition, you can enjoy super-fast internet (200MB ps up/download).
The kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, electric hob with 4 burners, mini-fridge, microwave/oven, and all the kitchen utensils you need.
A QR code has been placed next to your bed, which you can scan with your mobile phone. This will bring the Piece of Cake menu to your screen. With this, you order the tastiest cakes, breakfasts, and fresh cups of coffee! They will deliver them to your bed, so you never have to get out of bed for a delicious breakfast and a fresh cup of coffee. This is possible during the opening hours of Piece of Cake:

There are 4 bicycles which you can use for free during your stay, keep in mind that the bicycles are only suitable for short distances. For cycling longer distances you can rent bicycles across the street from bicycle shop Paul Willemsen.
At Piece of Cake, we also have a boat that is right next to the house which you can rent out, how much fun it is to enjoy a round trip to Delft while enjoying snacks and drinks. This is only possible in the summer season from April 1 to September 30.
Next to Piece of Cake you can find De Pizzeria where you can eat the most delicious Italian pizzas. You will find the menu on the table. Place your order by telephone and they will serve you when you are on the bed or when you are sitting outside on the picnic table in the sun.
This used to be a real Dutch farm, which we converted into the Piece of Cake store for a while, here it all started. Soon we were too big and we continued across the street. After this, it became the bakery and the office! Now everything has moved to the other side and we have converted our old bakery and shop into a house.

After the explanation, we hand over the keys and the house is all yours, for questions we are always available by phone or just walk across, we are happy to help you. Because of the COVID-19 virus, we always prefer a self-check-in, so the stay is extra safe.
Animals are more than welcome but they are not allowed to sit on the couches or the bed. We do charge a surcharge of €10,- per stay when you bring a pet.
Please note that there is a road near the old farmhouse and you can expect some noise.
