Welcome to our new, very cozy and big studio apartment! It is located close to town but feels like you're in the country, very wooded and private location! The space is located on the ground level, first floor of our home. It is your own space, very private with your own entry, bathroom, kitchen and large deck looking out into the woods. Because this is our primary home, you may hear us upstairs (our deck is above yours) living our lives, entertaining possibly - otherwise private and quiet

The space
The space is located on the ground level, there are 12 large stones placed as steps (a walkway) on a slope to your entrance. If you have heavy bags, a lot of luggage with rollers, be prepared to carry them down. You'll have a place to park your car if you have one. You'll have a fully functional kitchen, so feel free to cook and prepare meals if you'd like! The space has been fully renovated, very new feeling, clean! It is an open floor plan, no official bedroom (studio) with Queen (semi firm) mattress. There is a big tv with access to Netflix etc... There are clean yoga mats and a big beautiful deck to practice on if you'd like!

The beauty of this home is how 'in the woods' you will feel while being close to the town of Vineyard Haven. It's just a couple minutes (5 most) drive to town, but you wouldn't really want to to walk to town from the house, especially if you're thinking about walking from the Steamship Authority (the boat) with luggage, you won't be happy you did that. You could rent a bicycle or scooter for more convenience. The neighborhood is very quiet and private, with only a couple houses off a winding dirt road. It is a very private, quiet and safe area.

I’ve been traveling for work now for several years, been loving the option of all the Air B&B’s all over the world, such a great alternative to Hotels!

During your stay

The apartment is located on the ground floor. We live upstairs as our primary residence, this means we will be around during your stay most likely. Given it is our primary residence and home, we will have friends over, possible gatherings from time to time. With that said, we respect that you are visiting and on vacation and will keep the noise to minimum - you can count on quiet time from 10pm on for sure (unless we have a gathering which we will communicate with you). We are very laid back and casual but very much want and enjoy our privacy :)
