This private 800 sq ft apartment is on the first floor of my home which was built in 1897. While its history can be seen in the exposed brick, cast iron tub and ornate woodwork, the space has been modernized to ensure your comfort during your stay. WiFi, Cable TV, and other modern amenities will make your stay comfortable and like your own home!

The space

Located on the first floor of a three story home in historic Congress Park, the apartment has two entrances (one that is shared with upstairs and a private entrance from the back yard). Clean, bright, and chock full of character, this space never fails to charm the people who visit. Minutes from City Park and Cherry Creek. 5 minutes from Downtown Denver (super cheap Uber or Lyft!)

We made sure to take care of the important things! You will have great linens, a cozy couch, super comfortable bed, wireless internet, flat screen TV, two bicycles, and a fully functional kitchen at your disposal.

The king bed and queen sleeper sofa pull out bed easily accommodate 4 adults. Please contact us if you are interested in having more than 4 people during your stay. We have a pack and play for your little one also!

Guest access

As our guest, you will have access to the entire downstairs apartment and a sizable portion of the back yard. We also have Laundry if you need to!

Interaction with guests

Timing is everything! We live upstairs, but we both travel and work odd schedules, so we may not cross paths during your visit. We love to meet new people and are happy to interact, but if you are more inclined to stay to yourself, that works too!

Other things to note

Per Denver City and County and State of Colorado Ordinances, effective January 1, 2017, all short term rentals (less than 30 days) are subject to Lodging Tax. It will be assessed as a separate charge through the Airbnb Resolution Center. The tax is 10.75% for the Denver Lodgers Tax. Look for the email from the Resolution Center with this charge. The City and County of Denver are currently trying to work out a long term solution; your understanding of this requirement is appreciated.


We are usually around town, so if there is anything you need, please feel free to give us a call at any time.


The "house book" has tons of information, bus schedules, and other handy tips.


Check in is usually at 3 pm and check out by 11 am to allow for cleaning; but can be flexible depending on our bookings - just inquire at the time of booking and we will accommodate you to the best that we can!

Travis' flat is spacious and in a central location - very close to restaurants and bars and for a business trip it was great but for tourists this would be a perfect flat.

The listing for this property, was spot-on, a lovely apartment with character, and a good range of eateries just 200-300 meters around the corner! We were arriving fairly late from a transatlantic flight, but Travis's check-in procedure was easy to follow by ourselves. Due to my travel arrangements, I didn't get to meet Travis personally but his communication prior to our trip was outstanding. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Fantastic place in Denver, we had a great time and Travis was a great host! Close to local eateries and bars as well as connections to downtown! Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to meet Travis in person but he was always available via email. Can't fault it .... Thanks

Beautiful apartment, full of character, in quite a central location. Well-equipped kitchen and big comfy bed in main bedroom. The sofa bed in front room was fine for our little girl. Access to the back yard was nice to have, esp to eat outside on warm days. Travis was very helpful and responded to text messages quickly if we didn't see him in person. We'd love to stay here again if we re-visit Denver!
