Fantastic first floor contemporary flat with 2 ensuite double bedrooms in central Richmond with a sunny balcony overlooking 2 rugby fields. The well equipped kitchen is modern Italian and opens onto the living room. Spacious and bright, set within a peaceful gated complex, this private executive style accommodation has fabulous light. A central location, convenient to the river, golf course, swimming pools and Richmond Park, with allocated parking and the railway station is less than 100m away.

The space
You get the whole flat to yourself, although the owner has a small secure room with her possessions in it. You are welcome to make yourself at home and live like a local in Richmond. If the dates you require are not showing up please send us a message and we'll try and accommodate. Please note: this is not a space set up *just* for guests - it is a home, you are welcome to share it, and you will have the space for yourselves.

Richmond and Twickenham are beautifully leafy suburbs of London – on the banks of the river Thames and both with easy access to London. These local villages and high streets include a plethora of independent shops – from the lanes in Richmond, cobbled Church Street in Twickenham, to the flourishing high street in Teddington – there is something for everyone. You are surrounded by pubs and restaurants (both exciting independents and chains you will recognise) and local venues for theatre as well as a wealth of live music (it may have started with Eel Pie Island, but it didn’t stop there!) so don’t forget your dancing shoes.

Spend some time in the glasshouses at Kew, potter along the river, visit the museums and art galleries, go to the stoop at Twickenham Stadium and see a game of rugby, or embrace your inner princess and tread in the footsteps of Royalty at Hampton Court Palace and Gardens; Old Richmond Palace or Kew Palace or just have a yomp in Richmond Park, spotting the red and fallow deer (or if you feel adventurous, rent some bikes from Parkcycle by the hour for up to 4 hours - book in advance by calling them).

Why not go for Sunday lunch at The White Swan on Twickenham Riverside, or potter along the Thames Path towards Ham and visit the National Trust’s Ham House (an atmospheric Stuart mansion). You can always get the Hammerton’s Ferry back to Twickenham and end your day at Orleans House, a stunning 18th century interior design and art gallery in secluded woodland gardens. Head to Richmond Hill and grab a sherbet at The Roebuck to sip overlooking the iconic view from the top of Terrace Gardens, not only is it our top tip, it has been protected since an Act of Parliament in 1902. Wander down and have a spot of tea at the Hollyhock Café in the Terrace Gardens. If you are feeling rather flush, don’t hesitate to go to Petersham Nurseries and stop a while to smell the roses and have some delicious cake in an old greenhouse.
