The apartment is at the intersection of the two most lively neighborhoods in the city -- the Plateau and Mile-End. Location is perfect for walking, as we are surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, bars, art galleries, independent book stores and boutiques, as well as parks.
We are seconds from public transit. Bike path starts right in front of apartment, and there are many Bixi stands around.
From Dec 18, 2015 - Jan 04, 2016 the minimum stay is 7 nights.
The location was perfect, near all the best restaurants in Montreal. Bakery in the corner was fantastic breakfast. The place was modern and very clean. My family said that they would stay in this property again. Check in was fairly easy. Only downside is that there were not enough pillows for the 8 people in our group. 1 parking space available but plenty in the area for pay. Bathrooms were perfect with a nice shower pressure. There's also a nice guide by the owner as to what's near by.
This apartment is magnifique.
We were traveling with five friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. We cannot imagine finding a better location or kinder hosts. Bronwen's art-filled apartment is ideally located next to a beautiful park in Mile End. The apartment is roomy and comfortable, including multiple spacious common spaces and two balconies. There are dozens of lovely bars, restaurants, shops, and galleries all within easy walking distance. Bronwen's recommendations were spot on, and we were grateful that she left for us some delicious Quebec beer from Dieu du Ciel!, which has a fabulous brewpub a block away.
If you're lucky enough to rent this apartment, you will not be disappointed.
It was a joy to rent from Bronwen, her family's lovely apartment exceeded all of our expectations. She was very helpful and available to our questions, as well as communicative leading up to our arrival by providing thorough info about her home and the neighborhood. We were welcomed by a kind neighbor upon our arrival who provided us with additional information about their fantastic neighborhood. The flat is next to two lovely parks (one of which with a huge playground) and surrounded by so many great restaurants, bars and shops. Public transportation is in very easy reach, and we even had a parking spot for our car. The apartment itself is just as described, if not better. Spacious, clean and comfortable, we were provided with amenities to make us feel right at home. Our one regret is not allotting more time to stay! :)
Fantastic stay in Montreal! The apartment was lovely and the neighbourhood had things going on and was well-situated to see the city. Lots to do and see and close to all the attractions. We loved the space and found it roomy and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay! Dealing with Bronwen was great. She was responsive and had lots of great information for us about the apartment and what to do and see around town. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Montreal. Thanks for providing us with a wonderful home away from home!
Bronwen's apartment was amazing! Huge space that accomodated all 8 of us with plenty of room to spare. The apartment had a wonderful modern feel located walking distance to great brunch spots, bakeries, cafes, and pubs. We were greated with delicious local breads and some craft brews as well as an entire list of recommendations! Everything was as expected and more! Perfect location if you like to stroll around and explore various parts of the city. Also was a super easy commute to the metro. Thanks Bronwen - we will definitely stay here again if we make it back up to Montreal!
This place is GREAT! It is the second year that we stay at Bronwen's place, and we are planing to go back for a third time next year! Perfect with kids, amazing location, I recommend this place without any hesitation!
Un endroit parfait en tous points, nous y retourneront probablement pour une troisième année! Merci!
This apartment was splendid for our Jazzfest/Piknic Électronik visit to Montreal! I would say the location is perfectly convenient to the metro and suited for walking down St. Laurent into downtown. We had plenty of space both indoor and out. There are also wonderful restaurants and coffee shops near by. We enjoyed the farmers market right in the park across the street and found lovely baked goods at Boulangerie Guillaume around the corner. Everything you may need is only 5-10 minutes away. Thank you, Bronwen, for sharing your space with us and making great recommendations on things to do and places to go!
