The space is in our family home, which is at a 10-15 minute walk from Thamel in a quiet residential neighborhood. The apartment receives ample sunlight throughout the day, keeping the room warm, cosy and bright. The size of the apartment is 64 square meter. The balcony is shared with a room beside it. If there are no guests in the room during your stay, the balcony will be private.

The space
Make yourself at home with us. Our home is a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of Kathmandu, Thamel at a safe and sound neighborhood. Despite being right in the city, you will, without a doubt, be far from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city. Swayambhunath, the Monkey temple is at a 25-30 minutes walking distance from our place. Safe neighborhood, sparkling clean rooms at a friendly and enthusiastic local's home !

Guests are responsible for keeping their place clean. A shared broom and dustpan is available in each floor. Housekeeping is provided twice a week. Paid laundry service is available but please keep in mind that Nepal is a country where resources are very precious, and we would appreciate it if small clothing items would be washed by hand.

Guest access
Rooms on the ground and first floor are not accessible. Feel free to enjoy the view from the balcony on the third floor or go up even higher to the roof.

Make yourself at home at our garden and if you would like, join us to pick vegetables at our mini farm!

Other things to note
We have 3 cats, Baby, Nomi and Yumi, who mostly just keeps to the ground floor and the garden. We also have a dog Jenny. She is a german shepherd and is a very friendly dog. We also have a neighborhood dog visit us everyday. She is Jenny's friend and like Jenny, she is very friendly as well.

Our neighborhood is a quiet residential neighborhood 10-15 minutes from Thamel. Its quiet, peaceful and very safe. Food supplies and restaurants are easily accessible.

There is a lovely temple 'Mhepi Mandir', a few minutes from our home. It makes for an ideal morning walk amongst the locals for a breath of fresh air!
