A truly authentic, artistic, Parisien apartment in a nice, safe area of Paris.

Myself my Wife and and our 18 month Old came to Stay here in Early August and after a few communication problems with our Host we finally got all the information we needed (2 days before we flew!). However once we finally had the info it was all very easy and well explained. On arriving at the Apartment Julien let us in and he was very kind throughout our stay. He even offered us some nice Cheeses:) The apartment is absolutely fantastic. It's a shame we were out most days to fully enjoy it. Coming back in each evening after a long day of Exploring was a joy though, we all had hot baths and showers and Julien was very relaxed. Our only disappointment was that although stated in one of the images there is NO Baby Cot! We did specifically rent this apartment for this reason (it's hard to find Air BnB places with Baby Cots!) and we thought we had hit the jackpot. Unfortunately Julien didn't know where it was or had even knew there was one. We did try and email Alex and Jeff but didn't get a reply as they were away travelling. We did get by though, we just had 3 to a bed for the week and were always so tired from our days we all slept well. It's not a major problem, however if you are travelling with a Baby who will need a Cot then make prior arrangements bringing one or hiring one or look elsewhere. We can't take that away from the amazing week we had though and this Apartment was very Special and we would book again! Thanks Dylan, Susannah & Phoebee

Apartment was better than expected! Absolutely beautiful. Republique is an excellent place to stay with many things to do and not too far from everything else. Really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is stunning! Beautifully decorated, spacious and just as portrayed in the photographs, it was truly a pleasure to live there while in Paris. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a heat wave which made our stay a tad uncomfortable given that the apartment is not prepared for 40ºC weather and on top of that there was construction happening on the building facade which woke us up everyday at 7am. Neither of these things are the hosts fault, and all together the place was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying! The place is great, the neighborhood is super lively, filled with shops, boutiques and places to eat, and all of this just a couple minutes away from a main tube station.

This apartment is an absolute joy! It's more spacious than it looks in the photos, and the ceilings are nice and high. The building is old and special, so if you're interested in staying somewhere with character this will suit you. The hosts' taste is very cool and eclectic, it feels like staying with hip friends. It has a very homey feel and to us this is 1000 times better than staying in a hotel. If you're interested in a clinical or modern environment, this is not the place for you. The canal area turns out to be our new favourite as well. Hardly any tourists, just tons of locals hanging out on the side of the canal, catching up with friends or going on dates. The restaurants and cafes feel cool, laid back, and authentically Parisian. We didn't have much time for shopping but those looked amazing too. Communication with the hosts and their helper was absolutely seamless and they were more than patient when our flight kept getting delayed later and later. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and would recommend it to all of my friends. The apartment made our stay in Paris so memorable and amazing - we miss it tons!

We loved the apartment. Spacious, beautiful, quiet and well equipped. The details (wooden floors, design fourniture, lay out) were all very pleasant. An apartment where we felt what real life in Paris might look like. Strolling along the Canal Saint-Martin at dusk (or having a morning run), breakfast at the large table with croissants and espresso, the Nuit Debout on the Place de la République, playing the piano, working in the morning sun and dining out a few steps away. Our absolute favourite in Paris.

I could not have asked for a better place to stay in Paris. The apartment was in a perfect location, only two blocks from one of the best bakeries in Paris and right in the heart of Republique, a great base for exploring Paris. The apartment was much larger than I expected, especially for Paris, and incredibly well decorated. Seriously, it is one of the coolest apartments I've ever seen. Very comfortable beds and couch. Everything worked well, and it seemed like whenever we wondered how something worked, there was a nice little post-it note ready to teach us. Jeff and Alex were fantastic to work with, though they were out of town for the holidays. They responded right away to my booking request and questions. They also left us a bottle of champagne to celebrate New Years. After staying in their apartment, we wished we'd had a chance to meet them.
