Hace alguno años llego mochileando el suizo Patrick, desde América Central hasta Ecuador donde encontró su pedacito de paraíso. Desde entonces fue construyendo con dedicación y mucho amor junto con su familia la Hostería para así compartir con los viajeros del mundo lo que es ahora La Barquita.
Al entrar en el sitio le da la bienvenida un gran Galeón de madera con su imponente infraestructura de tres pisos, rodeado por un jardín exótico y lujuriante. Una hermosa piscina completa el cuadro frente al infinito Océano Pacífico.
En esta obra unimos ecología y respeto a la naturaleza con calidad y bienestar.
