The problem with the electricty was due to Endesa not upgrading our supply when they should have. We were told it had been done but when Claire started experiencing problems we found out they hadn't done it. We now have a new meter and the supply has been upgraded so there will be no power problems in future. However we are upset to hear that they were without power for the whole night. This could have been avoided by switching it back on at the box or contacting us. We are also concerned that there was a fall as we were not told about this. With regards to the cold, unfortuntely spanish houses are cold in bad weather, we did our best to help with this, as in addition to the heated air con units, we supplied radiators, gas fires and bought logs for the fire, but if people are used to central heating then it can still seem cold. We sorry if this distracted from what should have been lovely week in Spain.
