A newly renovated gem of an apartment awaits you on your stay in Cape Town. Arrive through a hallway with a bookshelf chock-full of interesting titles and a guest bathroom to your right. Plop your bags down in the large bedroom and immediately open the slide-away windows to hear and smell the ocean. The double bed is heavenly with its crisp linen and the ensuite bathroom makes your time here a pleasure.
Down a short passage is the second bedroom -- smaller and with only a single bed. But what a pleasure to have the extra space.
Walking through to the living room, you smile at how large it is. "The photos didn't do it justice," you think to yourself, because it is roomier and sunnier and has more of a view than you anticipated. The extra-large sectional couch is quite possibly even more comfortable to sleep on than the bed, and the biofuel fireplace is a great touch. You can just picture yourself having breakfast every morning at the 4-seater dining room table the looks out of the wall of windows towards the Atlantic ocean (although, note, I am not beach front, so there is a building that takes some of the view, but not all)
Saving the best for last, you walk into the compact, but fully loaded kitchen. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, microwave - how did they fit it all into such a compact area? New pots, new fixtures and fittings, everything clean and lovely. "This is going to be a dream vacation," you smile to yourself, happy that you made this pick.

Other things to note
There is a 24 hour door man in the lobby downstairs. Introduce yourselves so that they may know you're visiting the complex. They are there to keep an eye on things; as does the CCTV camera system that is installed - Cape Town doesn't get safer than this.
This is my home. Let's respect each other and respect the space:
I simply ask that you respect my apartment and leave it in the condition you found it in. It gets cleaned before you arrive and after you leave, but any cleaning while you stay here is extra -- Let me know if you'd like me to arrange that at R250 per day. No smoking or pets in the unit.
One very important thing is to wipe/wash the marble counter in the kitchen with a simple mixture of dishwashing liquid and water. Don't use any of my other cleaners on this counter as the marble will corrode/stain with bleach products.
There is a garbage chute just down the hallway from the apartment, as well as a full-time building cleaner on site if you need your car washed etc.
Please respect the doorman security guard - they do an amazing job of keeping the building and area safe.
