Situated in one of Forest Hill's leafiest roads, our Georgian house is quirky, cosy and spacious. 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms + shower room, an open fire, big gardens front/back. Perfect base for having fun, relaxing and exploring London from

The space

Originally a Georgian coach-house built around 200 years ago, our house was extended and added to during the Victorian era - giving the place a charming, rambling feeling. It's a totally unique old property, surrounded by trees and with a long, private garden at the front that makes it easy to forget you're in London. There's also a massive rear garden which is also very private and full of mature plants and trees - notably an enormous old oak tree. The rooms are all generous, stripped back and elegantly furnished. We've mixed modern furnishing with period decor. There's tons of space.

Guest access

Broadband Wifi, Apple TV (Netflix etc), off-street parking, TV, Sony music system with bluetooth connection

Interaction with guests

We probably won't be around during your stay.

Other things to note

There's an open fire in the sitting room downstairs and a well-stocked wood-store outside.

There's a big table in the kitchen that seats 8 people at a push. And there's a big Smeg oven and hob, and large refrigerator and freezer. We also have a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer that you can use.

Towels and bedding provided.

Cleaner provided.

Big trampoline in the garden for kids (or adults), and an outdoor fire in the back garden.

Free parking on premise

House Rules

It would be brilliant if you were able to feed our cat - but not essential. Aside from that, please just be sensible and respect the space.

We had a wonderful stay at Tim's house - from start to finish, I felt that this trip really was Airbnb at its best. We exchanged a few messages ahead of our stay so I felt comfortable with all the arrangements and was really looking forward to the stay. The house and garden really surpassed my expectations and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The furniture and decoration were so lovely and unique that it was a real privilege to stay there. My party ranged in age from 6 months to 60+ and the house was well set up for all of us. The kitchen is really well equipped and there was plenty of room for family meals. Forest Hill is a lovely area of London to be based in, particularly for families as there are lovely parks and the Horniman museum nearby.

We loved our stay at Forest Hill! With a family of 5 children ranging in ages 18-8 we found Tim's place accommodated us all with ease. Transport in & out of London was easy. Locally everything you need is within walking distance. The house could easily accommodate families or couples. We liked that it was a lived in family home; making breakfast each morning or dinner each night was easily accommodated. Tin was very easy to communicate with & answered all our questions pre-arrival quickly & thoroughly. We liked too knowing all the contact numbers should anything arise (it didn't!). A big hit was FRANKIE the cat! Who is so loveable we could have easily packed him to come with us back to Australia! Thanks Tim & Family for our memorable London stay! LOUISE & family :)
