Where you’ll be

Barbaste, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

Albret's tourist strengths are numerous and among the most remarkable are the strengths linked to homelessness, rich and diverse nature, and the flavours and way of life of the Southwest. Complementing these great features, Albret is a territory renowned for its historical and heritage richness, particularly marked by Henry IV and the family of Albret.
They are complemented by multiple opportunities for outdoor activities such as canoeing on the Gelise.
All these elements make it possible to describe tourism in Albret as "green » tourism.
A land of flavours, Albret is renowned, like Lot-et-Garonne, for its Gastronomy and for its local producers: restaurants, farms open for visits and markets of producers from countries in summer delight Albret tourists: prunes, strawberries, foie gras, Melons, appellation controlled wines (AOC Buzet, Armagnac, Floc de Gascogne, Bruhlois...) are thus among the most popular products.
